OK, gotta tell you about my time in Queretaro.  Then hopefully soon, I can get some pics up for you all, hooray!

Within an hour or two upon arrival at Pan de Vida, I was sitting on the edge of the trampoline talking with some people there (I'll leave names and explanations for now to spare you the grief) .. and good thing because of what came out of hiding.  Two men were moving an old dryer out of the main complex.  Upon coming out the doorway and placing the dryer on the ground, about four or five small grey rats appeared and were scampering around, one or two of the little kids and the men maybe too trying to catch them or put something in their way... Kind of some excitement!  Before we knew it one littel boy was carrying one dead by the tail to a garbage can.  From where I was sitting I could see into the whole at back of the washer and told everying que "hay otra" -- there's another one, and a bigger one, probably the mama still inside, I had caught the side profile of eyes and ears.  So the men had to shake and bang around on the machine for a bit and eventually tilt it this way and that to get it out, it was definitely bigger.  I don't know if they managed to get away or how  many were caught. Oh well.  Then Dario said, "Welcome to Pan de Vida", with a smile.  :)  It wasn't really scary, I was not scared, and I got the drift that such dwellers there were not interested in mingling with the people anyway.  Ha.

The first day I helped a lot with dishes and such in the kitchen, many many dishes to wash.  The teenage girls there are the ones who do all the cooking and kitchen & dining room cleaning and stuff.

OK, TO BE CONTINUED, its late, this place is going to close soon and it is dark.  I hope to continue it tomorrow.

HUGS, Ames.
