DUTIES:  Contract Administrator in the System Administration Procurement Service Center located at the Fitzsimons campus.  Provide purchasing agents with contracts administration support by reviewing contracts and amendments for legal sufficiency; prepare and negotiate complex and unique contracts in consultation with University Counsel; keep current on all State of Colorado procurement rules and regulations, fiscal rules and University and Federal requirements; and perform other duties as assigned or required.



REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in business administration or a field related to the assignment and two years of professional experience in contract preparation and negotiation.  Technical work in contract preparation and negotiation may be substituted year-for-year for the bachelor's degree.  A degree in law from an American Bar Association accredited law school may be substituted for the degree and one year of the required experience.  A law degree is highly desirable.
