Bio: Anubis is the leader of Talpa's Dark Warlords. His physical strength is onpar with Kento of Hardrock's. However, his temper and ego are large ashis heculean stength. Anubis can think on his feet, making him one of themost dangerous warlords. About halfway through the series, he demonstartes this honor when he question's Talpa orders directly. He believed that: "...A true victory...must be won on the battlefield..." (Episode# 14) It was this sense of sense of honor that the Ancient appealed towhen he convinced Anubis to defect from the Dynasty. Talpa soon sent theother Dark Warlords after him to return him to the Dyasty. In the secondhalf of the series, Anubis reappears on the Mortal World. This time dressed the same as the Ancient and weilding the Magic Staff. He eventually sacrificed himself to save Kayura from Talpa's hold.
A thinker as much as a warrior, Anubis, known as the Dark Warlord of Cruelty, initially worked for Talpa as one of four Dark Warlords, possessors of the evil Ronin armors. In his Ogre armor, Anubis called upon the unknown power of his armor, which was spiritually linked to him through the virtue of loyalty. Rejected by his fellow Dark Warlords, Anubis secretly questioned Talpa's motives, and, with the help of the Ancient, realized that Talpa was only using him for the power of his armor. Anubis turned against the Dynasty, and eventually took over the Ancient's legacy when the Ancient sacrificed his life for the Ronin Warriors. As the Ancient, Anubis helped the Ronin Warriors until the Ancient's spirit allowed Anubis to return to his Dark Warlord form to combat the three Dark Warlords. Eventually, Anubis sacrificed his life to drive the evil from Kayura. Both Anubis' Warlord armor and Anubis' Ancient staff were transferred to Kayura after his death.
