"I cannot do this alone."

-The Ancient, the wise voice of reason-
The antithesis of Talpa, the Ancient wielded the power of goodness, and was the only force able to stop Talpa's invasion four hundred years ago. He formed the nine Ronin armors from Talpa's armor, and chose Ryo, Kento, Sage, Rowen, and Cye to become the Ronin Warriors. The Ancient would occasionally appear to aid the Ronin Warriors in their battle against the Dynasty. After awakening the goodness in Anubis, the Ancient sacrificed his own life to open a gateway through which the Ronin Warriors could invade the Dynasty. After his death, the Ancient transferred his legacy to Anubis, who became the next Ancient.

-Mia Kochi, the Computer Geek-
The granddaughter and assistant of Professor Kochi, an expert in the field of Japanese history and samurai warriors, Mia ventured out to find Ryo when he first appeared in the streets of Tokyo, with a giant white tiger by his side. She and a little boy, Yuli, soon became the last remaining people not taken by the Dynasty. When the five Ronin Warriors were scattered by Talpa, she used her grandfather's extensive computer records to locate each Ronin Warrior. From then on, she and Yuli became the Ronin Warriors' friends and sidekicks. Mia and Yuli have helped the Ronin Warriors on many occasions, including finding and holding the Jewel of Life, an important part of the fight against Talpa.

-Yuli, the Ronin in Training-
The typical annoying little six-year-old, Yuli loves the Ronin Warriors and is constantly trying to tag along with them into the Dynasty. He is crazy about White Blaze, and gets just as worked up when White Blaze gets hurt as when Ryo or the other Ronin Warriors do. Yuli lost his parents during the Dynasty's initial invasion, and quickly attached to Mia, presumably the only other remaining human other than the Ronin Warriors.

-White Blaze, not your average kitty-
White Blaze appears first at the side of the Ancient One (Kaosu) when Talpa appears and runs rampant throughout feudal Japan. Although the series does not go into great detail about his character, he is essentially a warrior spirit reborn into an animal. This theory is reinforced by the fact that White Blaze can take the Warlord's attacks regularly and not suffer any permanent damage. As to who is inside the tiger, I would have to say Hariel, first owner of the White Armor, as it is White Blaze who enables Ryo to gain the Soul Swords of Fervor, which in turn allows Ryo to use the Inferno Armor at its maximum power. He is always looking out for the weak and innocent, and often protects the Ronin Warriors from danger when they are overwhelmed.
