Game 34 vs. NY Stars
Game 34: 12/19/04 vs. NY Stars (L 4-3)

(Written by team manager Dennis Visnovsky) We lost a very close evenly played non-league game Sunday evening to the NY Stars by a score of 4-3 at Abe Stark Arena. In spite of having only 10 skaters and a goalie attend the game we mounted a very respectful offensive and defensive units to keep pace with the 18 player bench of the Stars. Justin Sobieski, Drew Perry, Steve Genualdi, Jackson Udelsman, Michael Lundberg, Corey DeFranco, Brian Dixon, David Magnollay, Jordan Tucci and Michael Postorino all hustled and worked hard from start to finish. Several players played offensive as well as defensive positions during the course of the game displaying their talents as two way players. Goalie Eric Visnovsky played an admirable game stopping 30 of the 34 shots he faced. Many saves were in close around the net as well as three breakaway saves and two nifty glove saves. Goals were scored by Jordan Tucci (unassisted), Michael Postorino (assists from Magnollay and Perry) and Michael Lundberg (assists from DeFranco and Perry). After the game a group of us went to the original Nathan's on Surf Ave. for some dogs and fries. A good time was had by all. On a final note, a special thanks to both Fred Tucci and Mitch Perry for volunteering to assist on the bench.

A little recap of Head Coach Frank DiGangi's night:
-left for game in Coney Island, hit 30 min. delay at Lincoln Tunnel
-made a wrong turn out of the tunnel and sat in traffic trying to get back
-hit traffic on every road he took
-finally got in the general area of the rink and toured Coney Island as he got lost trying to find the rink
-ran into the rink late and realized the game was over
-realized he drove 2 hours for a hot dog and some fries
-followed Mitch Perry home only to realize he was actually following some random stranger
-found Mitch and decided to follow him into the EZ Pass Lane accidentally
-Coach then realized he doesn't have EZ Pass
-received a 90$ ticket for going through the lane without EZ Pass
-bumper to bumper traffic on the way home
When asked about how he felt Coach responded with "It just wasn't my night."

Tucci (unassisted)
Postorino (Magnollay, Perry)
Lundberg (DeFranco, Perry)

Eric Visnovsky: 30 saves (4 goals allowed)
