Game 32 vs. Jersey Penguins
Game 32: 12/12/04 vs. Jersey Penguins (W 11-0)

I'm not even sure where to start on this one. The Colonials skated into the Rock Ice Pavillion in Dunellen, NJ for a non-league contest against the Jersey Penguins and basically put on a hockey clinic. Many of these players used to call this rink home so they felt very comfortable. They torched former Colonials goalie Matt Meisenbacher for 11 goals and Geoff Durham made 15 saves for the shutout as this one was never close. Drew Perry, Brian Dixon, and Corey DeFranco each had 2 goals and many others got on the scoresheet, including Nick Ferris who put in his first of the year...the final player to record a goal on the team. The scoring started with Mike Formichella for the second time in as many games. Perry, DeFranco and Dixon would exchange goals until Buzz Sobieski, Matt Daugherty and Jay Sogliuzzo would also get in the act. Ferris would end the scoring barrage and the Penguins never really even knew what hit them. The Colonials improve to 16-9-7 on the year. They come back home to face the Avalanche in league play next weekend in a game that has huge implications on the standings.
