Game 18 vs. American Eagles
Game 18: 10/31/04 vs. Medford Jaguars (W 6-0)
The Sunday night matchup was set...Jaguars and Colonials on Halloween night and after being robbed on numerous occasions the night before the Colonials wanted to put some pucks in the net and did they ever. In a completely dominating performance the home team put in 6 and Eric Visnovsky stood strong in net, including a pad stack save that drew an ovation from the Colonial crowd and had the Jaguars shaking their heads. It was only fitting that after getting robbed on the goal line the day before Mikey Lundberg would open up the scoring tonight with an assist by team captain Mike Formichella. Jay Sogliuzzo would then put in the next two goals assisted by defensemen as well, Ryan Cassidy and Jordan Tucci respectively. It was 3-0 and the rest of the game would prove more of the same. Anthony Matarazzo cashed in on a Mike Postorino rebound and then set up Cassidy for another goal to increase the lead to 5. The nail in the coffin would come from Brian Dixon as he and Drew Perry went in on a shorthanded 2 on 1 and put it through the goalie's legs. Visnovsky had 10 saves for the shutout and the Colonials improved to 4-1-1 in league play.
