Game 15 vs. Ice Vault Bandits
Game 15: 10/23/04 vs. Ice Vault Bandits (W 6-0)
The Colonials continued league play at the Ice Vault in Wayne against the Bandits. Just a few weeks ago the score ended 10-0 in the Colonials favor and this game would be more of the same. Geoff Durham was a perfect 10 for 10 in shots for his third shutout of the season and the Colonials offense put 52 shots on goal as they took the game 6-0. Justin Sobieski would start the scoring in the first with an assist from new linemate Matt Fullam. Team captain Mike Formichella would follow that with a goal of his own on a rebound from a shot by Steve Genualdi. It was quickly 2-0 and they never looked back. Drew Perry would score off a tip from Jordan Tucci and then Tucci would get one of his own from the point. Mike Postorino put in the next two goals including one on a very nice hustling play where he went inside-out on the defenseman and then backhanded a shot upstairs over the goalie. It would end in ugliness as Perry would be involved in a fight and would end up being suspended for 2 games and that's how it ended.
