Daniel moaned softly. The feel of her mouth on him was beyond belief.
When those warm lips had first touched him, he had jerked involuntarily. She sat up and looked deep into his blue eyes, sensing the tension in him. She had lay down close to him, embracing him with her arms and her body. Then she propped herself up on one elbow and looked into his face with a smile.
"Daniel, do you fear me?"
"No!" he spoke more sharply than he had intended. "No," he continued more calmly, "I don't fear you - it's me I'm afraid of." Looking into her eyes, he spoke softly. "I know you have 'every confidence in my abilities', my Gaia, but I have to admit that I don't."
Her green eyes remained serious - he could not have continued if he had seen the slightest hint of laughter there.
"Gaia, I'm about ready to explode here. I don't want to disappoint you later because I can't contain myself now," he explained.
She nodded, and then captured his lips in a passionate kiss. When she broke away, she smiled.
"Think Daniel, and listen to what your soul tells you. Will you stop desiring me as soon as your first orgasm floods your body? Or your second?"
"No Gaia, that will not happen," he assured her.
"Why not?"
And then he smiled. "Because you are my soul's desire - and my soul will always desire you."
"Then I give you my word, my best beloved - as long as your soul still desires me, you will never disappoint me," and she leaned down to kiss his lips again.
Daniel suddenly found the tension in his body ease. Gaia knew exactly what she was doing - hadn't she already proved to have rather extraordinary abilities? And if she said it would be alright, then he was sure it would be.
She smiled into his eyes, feeling the change in his mood. And the playful light returned to her face. "Now, where was I?" she teased, as her hand brushed down his chest and across his abdomen, moving lower across his body.
He watched her face closely as her fingers explored him. Her eyes darkened with passion as she traced his length with her fingertips. His arousal had waned a little as they spoke, but now it returned. Not in the heated rush he expected, but slowly, steadily.
"Oh Daniel, how very beautiful you are," she crooned, and he knew that she was referring at that moment to only one part of him - the part she was lavishing all her attention on. She bent her head again, and he felt her hair brush his lower belly. Then he felt her warm breath, and then her lips.
And an odd thought occurred to him. While what she was doing was arousing him beyond belief, it wasn't what he expected. She knew everything about him - everything. So why wasn't she doing things to him that she knew he loved? He had had a partner some years ago that had done this thing with her tongue that no other woman had ever done, and it had been mind-blowing - so to speak. He had frightened her (and himself, if he was honest) by passing out at the strength of the orgasm that had shot through him on that occasion. Gaia, who knew his every thought it seemed, had to know how, over the years, he had craved the chance to experience that again. Hell, once he had even gone to see the woman in question, and had been disappointed beyond belief to find her married and settled. He had been a little shocked to find that he had seriously considered asking her to sleep with him again, even knowing this, just to experience that sensation again.
And then his mind accepted what his heart and soul already knew. None of this was about him. What Gaia was doing to him, even now, was for her, not him. On any other occasion, he would have thrown his head back and closed his eyes, losing himself in the glorious feelings coursing through him.. This time, with Gaia, it was different. He found himself unable to tear his eyes away from her, as she excited and tantalised him with her lips and tongue. He watched her, because he knew that this was arousing her even more than it was him, if that were possible.
And then he could think no more. Gaia's mouth, her warm sweet breath panting on him, her hair lazily tickling his skin - this was his universe, and he lost himself in it. He moaned again, beyond words, beyond thought, beyond anything but the orgasm that rushed to claim him. As it washed over him, he cried out her name, over and over. As his breathing and heartbeat finally slowed, he became aware of her watching him and, dimly, he heard her moan softly with pleasure.
She waited patiently as his body returned to normal, until his eyes cleared of their glaze of arousal and release. And then she leaned in to kiss him. He could taste himself in her mouth.
"Ah, my best beloved, how wonderful you are," she murmured against his lips, before kissing him again.
"Gaia, you are the one who is wonderful. Just what else do you have planned, my lovely temptress?" he asked, when she gave up possession of his lips.
She laughed, that low erotic laugh. And Daniel felt his desire stir again.
"Would you like some more champagne, my love?" she asked, reaching for their glasses.
"Yes, my Gaia, I would," he replied, moving to sit up. As she poured the wine, he rearranged the pillows at the head of the bed. When she turned to face him, he was reclining against the mound of pillows he had created, with his arms and legs outstretched.
The candlelight played across his skin like will 'o the wisps, creating an ever changing pattern of shadows and highlights. His blue eyes were calm as he took the proffered glass of champagne.
Gaia sat back on her heels at the foot of the bed, watching as he raised the glass to his soft, full lips and drank. She watched the muscles in this throat move as he swallowed. Her eyes roved across his body, across his shoulders and chest, down over his abdomen. She took in the length of his arms and legs, covered with fine fair hair, his feet, so long and narrow.
While she devoured him with her eyes, Daniel drank in the sight of her. The candlelight caught colour after colour in that glorious hair, like a kaleidoscope, constantly changing. The hair, now mussed slightly, framed an ageless face. It must be a trick of the flickering light, he thought, that made her look, sometimes, like a young virgin or a much older woman. He laughed inwardly - he was pretty sure she wasn't an innocent virgin.
Her skin was pale and creamy, touched by the palest of freckles where she had been in the sun. He wondered lazily, taking another swallow of champagne, just how far over her body he might find those freckles.
Her body was a mystery to him. He had felt her suppleness as she had pressed close to him, felt the warm weight of her full breasts against him, caressed the narrowness of her waist and the full curve of her hips, but he had yet to see her unclothed. But that didn't really matter to him, since this was not his experience. He would see her lush body - for he was sure it would be lush, under that silky gown - when she wanted him to, or not at all, if that was her design.
Gaia smiled inwardly too, sensing Daniel's train of thought. Her best beloved was learning, she thought, and she sensed he was beginning to understand, in the deepest part of his mind, just what this experience was about.
He was so very beautiful, this man, her new lover. His physical beauty, the scent of his body, the feel of his skin, the taste of him, the sound of his voice - everything about him delighted her five physical senses. And her sixth sense was enraptured with his mind. So caring, so gentle - and yet so abandoned at times. His passion - for his work, his friends, his lost wife. His sense of delight and wonder - witness his first reaction to her - and his curiousity. Her sixth sense was almost overwhelmed by the richness of his spirit and his mind.
Oh yes, she was lucky to have found such a man.
Gaia watched as he drained his glass. Wordlessly, she held out her glass to him, and he placed them both on the table before lying back against the pillows.
She leaned forward until she was resting on her hands and knees, and began to crawl slowly up the bed towards him. He could see her breasts more clearly now, as her gown fell away from them. She noted with interest that he was becoming aroused again.
Daniel watched her move towards him, captivated by her. Her hands were on either side of his body, and her knees rested between his outstretched thighs. She moved forward just a fraction more, and her mouth made contact with his. Their lips were the only part of them that touched, and yet Daniel felt he could not have been more aroused had she lay naked in his arms, their bodies touching from head to toe.
She sat back on her heels again, and her tongue darted out to wet her lips, just as his did. She dropped her eyes to his groin, sighing with pleasure at the sight of his growing excitement.
"You see, Daniel, my best beloved, I told you there was no way you would disappoint me," she purred, as she moved forward to kiss him again.
And as she drew his hands up, and he began to caress her gently, Daniel knew she was right, he wasn't going to disappoint either of them . . .
