Treize's speech during the Romefeller meeting in Bremen Duke Dermails: I'd now like to introduce you to the conqueror of the Alliance. This fine gentleman is nothing less than a brave knight, fighting for us in his quest to attain world peace. A member of the Romefeller Foundation and the chief commander of OZ, Treize Khushrenada! **Treize comes up** Treize: One might think that OZ's military power rooted in its mobile suit force has led to excess rule. The word rule is commonly associated with opression and arrogant actions. I look at it as a way of governing, to keep people's unnecessary ambitions under control. God let people run free. People need to be ruled, and that can only be done if there's a system of rule and control that surpasses that of gods. Since God lets them do what they want, I'm sure God would understand steps we're taking. **Great applause from the audience** Man from the audience: Yes he's absolutely right, God would understand!

Treize's resignation speech Duke Dermails: Treize, I'm relying on your leadership of OZ. Treize: Duke Dermails I'm sorry, but I cannot support the Romefeller Foundation in the path it's taking. Duke Dermails: What?! Treize: Tradition is a history, it's the history of caring built by deep true feelings of people. I do think that fighting in battles can indeed at times be beautiful, but at the same time I'd like to expres my regret over the lost souls by apealing to you to recognize how priceless mens life is. I believe what mankind needs is not absolute victory, but a certain demeanor in fighting, an attitude towards fighting. I fear that the era of soulles weapons called mobile dolls -- in other words, the era that the Romefeller Foundation is creating -- may become an emberassement to the people of the future. I used to think that the ideals of people in the space colonies, such as their highly prized pacifism, were just pitifull complaints out of their ignorance of tradition. New warriors were born that surpassed even my ideals, the Gundam pilots. Tradition appears blurred alongside pure feelings. From a historical point of view, warriors who lost what they were protecting and were further betrayed by those they were protecting, are losers. But they do not recognize themselves as such. Not only that, but they retain a strong will to continue fighting. The emotions of those who are thought to be beautiful are always full of sorrow, and honoured tradition disappears in the cry of the weak. Winners of a battle will eventually decline in power and become losers. And then those losers will cultivate a new leader. Duke Dermails: Treize, what are you trying to get at? Treize: I'm telling you, I want to be a loser. Duke Dermails: So you're saying that you want the Romefeller Foundation headquarters to take OZ out of your control? **sighs and puts an antique gun on the desk** We don't wish to see any blood, besides, we must take your distinguished service into account. I hereby confine you to the Romefeller Foundation headquarters. **Treize bows** Treize (thinking): With a fancy gun that has long forgotten the meaning of battle, I'd feel no emotion, even if I were to shoot an enemy right through the heart. It's not that a pure person has no direction, it's that their mind, is free.

Treize's first speech as the World Nation's soevereign Treize: I'm hereby making an announcement to the leaders of the world. What is the purpose of our World Nation's existence? The previous soevereign, Queen Relena, said it was true peace. But were the people able to live in peace? The answer to that, is no! People continue to live in uncertainty, and why is that? Because an armed organization calling themselves White Fang has challenged us to a war. We mustn't allow this tyranical behavior they'e exhibited towards us. I say to the leaders of the world, no, I say this to all citizens of the World Nation. Now is the time to unite as one and fight against this threat from outer space, and then our victory over them will bring peace and unity to the earth. Is that not our mission, in this, life?!

Treize's speech to his soldiers before the battle against the White Fang Treize: Fellow comrades, only warriors exist in this world. That purity is what makes this battlefield so beautiful. Let us finish the final battle for mankind and keep the horrors of war away from our homes! **Flies off to fight, followed by his soldiers**
