Captain Annalisa Lindstrom
 Name: Annalisa Lindstrom Rank: Captain Callsign: Stinger Description: Stinger is the Sea Bandits' primary Huey pilot. Like Chaser, Stinger took a slightly different route to get her flight training, as she also was flying missions with the Sea Dragons while only a First Lieutenant. However, again like Chaser, her flying skill is exemplary, and has pulled the Sea Dragons out of danger on a number of occasions. After the Sea Dragons were decommissioned, Stinger was assigned to Marine Corps Base Quantico as a member of the President's helicopter squadron. She distinguished herself there many times over, including a recent incident in which she saved the President's life during a terrorist bomb attack-with a little help from her fianc�, Captain A.J. Conaway, also known as Buddha. When Stinger first started her tour with the Sea Dragons, she found Buddha had a little prejudice, to put it mildly, about women in uniform. However, she resolved not to let him affect the performance of her duties, and she did not-even to the point of laughing off his sexist remarks as she would those of the ignorant or stupid. The one thing she didn't count on in her dealings with the demolitions expert was that she would fall in love with him-or that he would do the same with her. Yet, as they discovered, true love waits for no people-even Marines. After the Sea Dragons were decommissioned, the two lovers were fortunate enough to be reassigned to the same base, but no longer served in the same unit. As such, it was difficult to keep their relationship going. Indeed, at times Stinger wondered if it was even meant to be. However, shortly before the creation of the Sea Bandits, Buddha proposed to her, and she joyfully accepted. |
