Description: As Capone's wingman in the Cobra, Mad Dog
is the only member of the Sea Bandits to have to adjust
to both a new specialty and a new team. However, she is
more than up to the task, as the pressures of her English
heritage and her own inner desire give her a pluck
and fire that is unique among her comrades. As a member
of the 18th MEU, Mad Dog's original callsign was Cricket,
given to her by Kate in honor of her English roots.
It soon became apparent, however, that the MEU's new
British Huey pilot had a fire in her that made any
callsign so passive as "Cricket" out of the question.
Her current moniker was given to her by Colonel Drayton,
the MEU's commanding officer, when he saw her fiery
coaching of the MEU's entry into a boxing contest
against the Navy.
Like Capone, Mad Dog has not known her teammates-even
those she worked with in the 18th MEU-as long as they
have known each other; yet, she has still managed to
develop deep friendships with Ice, Spoon, Hammer, and
the Skipper. However, Capone is her closest friend,
and she goes to him first when she is in trouble.
Perhaps the memory of her newness within the unit has
made her the friendliest towards the former Sea Dragons;
in any case, she is the former Flying Bandit who is most
welcoming to her new teammates. Though she has been
known to exhibit some annoying personality quirks
(taping her life to send home to her parents, for example),
Mad Dog is much beloved by her unit-as well she should be.
