Monday |
Introduce the story Go Away, Big Green Monster! on chart paper (color words are in the appropriate colors). Reread story several times in different formats (i.e. girls only, boys only, popcorn style, silly voice, deep voice). Pick out color words from story. Have students come
up with other objects that are in the various colors in the story. |

Students will participate in literacy center activities: 1. Computer – listen on online audio of Go

Read chart paper story to class again. Have students imagine the green monster and draw what he looks like (color words should match the appropriate body parts). Pain over w/ diluted black pain to give it a spooky background. |
