French Roast - Brewed by the espresso method.  Steam is used in place of water as the extracting medium.

French Roast Ice Cream Float       Serves 2
1 1/2 cups brewed French roast coffee, chilled
1 cup cold club soda
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 large scoops vanilla ice cream
powdered cocoa

Combine the coffee, club soda, and sugar in a container and briefly set aside.  Put a scoop of ice cream in each chilled 12-ounce glass, then pour in the coffee mixture.  Dust with powdered cocoa.  Serve immediately with a straw and a long handled spoon.
