Wow!
This weekend my Australian Terrier, Foster, competed against the best of
the best at the AKC Agility Nationals held at the E Center in West Springfield,
Mass and proved he was a winner! Foster qualified for the AKC Agility Nationals
with the required 4 Standard 100's and 3 JWW 100's ths fall. He ran clean
and under time in the State Tournaments on Friday. Placing sixth overall
on the PA State Team (besting several border collies). He ran two awesome,
clean and Q runs on Saturday. Sunday morning he ran fast & clean for
a Q in the jumpers w/ weaves and moved into 10th place, out of 117, 12"
dogs and qualified for the (drum roll) Finals to compete with Top 52 other
dogs, (12 of which were 12") in a seperate arena set up for Amimal Planet
TV. Edwyre Foster the Ferocious ran against the best shelties, papillons
and JRT's in the USA in a spectaclular run to improve his standing to 6th
place for the final. Animal Planet will broadcast the AKC Nationals February
19th 2001 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. We may or may not be shown, last year they only
showed the top four dogs in the lower jump heights but who knows what will
