We are at present in the process of producing patterns for a 7mm scale model of the Leyland Titan TD2 Highbridge doubledeck bus This project has been undertaken due to the grumblings of the fat controller,who has been receiving increasing numbers of complaints from his 7mm passengers. Apparently they are having to make more frequent visits to their local chiropractor to have their backs attended to. This they say has nothing to do with the fat controllers passenger carriages,which they find very comfortable, nay, the problem arises after alighting from the carriages and having to squeeze themselves into 1/50th. scale buses!! So, next thing I know this message is delivered to me by pigeon Email, to whit, passengers are revolting (tell me something I didn't already know) need fleet of �7mm scale buses - see to it.....give me the preverbial broom I say to myself!!!
Of course, inevitably,as I am half way through making the patterns, he says quite noncholantly..oh, your building a highbridge, it wont fit under my bridges ( ********!!! ) I said.
