The lever frame parts we can supply consist of frame (expandable) and  lever with catch handle/block, also 90deg. angle crank and "tee" crank for mechanically operated signals or pointwork. There is also a pivot base available  All parts are cast from whitemetal with pivot rods etc. being of 3/16 inch diameter Bright mild steel rod. All parts have been produced as fairly substantial castings and are sufficiently robust enough to operate signals and points through cranks and wire rods (we use 1/16" (1.6mm) diameter gas welding wire which is available in approx. yard  lengths, either black or copper coated (recommended as it holds its shape and is not as soft as the black variety), if pointwork is a long way from the lever operating it then the cast lever may be too soft for the pull required and may bend, if only a few points are involved then a brass or steel replacement lever could be substituted.
