Colloidal Oatmeal #5,
Spring 2003
Status:
Available

This issue took 10 months to complete. 10 months. That's a long time.  If Colloidal Oatmeal were a baby, it would have been born sooner.  Now, you may be thinking "gee, this issue must be HUGE if it took Candice 10 months to complete!" Well, that's not really true.  Sometimes I would forget to work on it, and it gathered a bit of dust. But other times I would remember it and dust it off, and that's all I would do.  But THEN I got my act together and actually worked on it, and completed it a couple of weeks ago.
What exactly is inside Colloidal Oatmeal #5?
I drew lots of comics for this issue.  Illustration has always been something I've wanted to do with my life, and this past year i was involved in an illustration class at the Herron School of Art.  Being in this class helped me to develop my characters a bit, and therefore caused me to want to draw them at every waking moment ... hence why they appear so frequently in this issue.  If this bothers you, I don't care.  The comics are usually based on events that really happened to me, although some are completely fake.  And, as always, this issue contains it's share of random writings from my journal and beyond.

If you would like to receive this issue, please do

I know you want to
note: you should order this zine, because chances are that i will include a vinyl Colloidal Oatmeal sticker in your order for your own enjoyment.
