Meditation

Being there is believing and living

meditation is work

I do not think meditation is stoping one's thoughts because you cannot really stop thinking.

meditation is concetration

One may have personal and business problems that have to be thought of one at a time. Meditation is resting what one does not have to do now for what one wants to do now. Constantly concentrating and keeping focus on anything is meditation. Think, Think of what to is to be done and it is meditation.

meditation is self uplifting

Because when one meditates one is resting one's personal, thought and business problems and thus resting one's egotisms.
To concentrate on the effort to meditate it is relaxing and inspiring.

meditation is focusing on the positive

One may think of of the bad things that are happening day to day but by meditating on a positive or resting meditative theme with a pictures, ideal, thought or word one may take one's mind off of the day to day headache and bring a new inner light into one's day.

A introvert, extrovert balance meditation

One can find that there is a silence behind one's thoughts when one is paying attention to thoughts as a peaceful pleasure inside. Also, one can find that there is a silence or peace inside when one watches one's body move in some useful purpose on the reality outside.
With this meditation one begins playing the part of the introvert having fun with one's thinking and being mindful of one's thoughts passing in one's mind for about ten breaths. After ten breaths one then starts to play the part of the extrovert by doing something as fast as one can possible can like jumping around fast around a room. After doing something for about 20 breaths as fast as one can one then may see that by playing the part of a extrovert or a introvert one can find a peace within one's self no matter what one is creating or moving.
Collis had a manager one time try to make him go faster but by trying to make him go faster it just was not a discovery into extrovert behavior. It was instead, a discovery of some more good and evil.

Mental rest

In the following mindful meditation one just sits or lays in a position until the mind feeiing that the body is in a relaxed state becomes also relaxed. The mind seeing that it can relax finds peace in a sleepy eyed like condition. This relaxation can be brought about by breath watch medation or some meditation similar. Relax and be at peace.

A standing meditation position

Stand with your feet togather with hands out at about chest level and keep watching how the pull of gravity effects one's body. Breath in or out with each swing of your body. Hold on to something like a chair to keep you from falling if you have a fear of falling down.
Another, version of this is to bend one's knees and with each one of one's breath move a little up and down with one's legs. One can do this anytime one notices one is standing.

Useing buttons, crystals, and pennies on body meditation

Small sized items one can be place or hang on the body so as to bring one's attention to certain area's of the body. The forehead or two inches below the belly button are a few places or chakra's one can bring one's attention to as a meditation. The items can be used as mental attention getters. One can use these items to help bring one's attention away from a discomfort or a pain one has in one's body. If one has a headache a small item can may be visualized and felt near one's belly button. If one has a stomach ache one can place a small item on one's forehead as a visualization and presence. This meditation is good for not being obsessed with discomforts or pains in one's body.

Migrane headache meditation

Mentally watch with mindfulness your headache and then pretend or amagine that your headache is a projector that puts your desired images in space or on the wall like a star, a stream, iceburg, a tree or a cave and so on. This meditation tries to make use of a headache.

Circulating attention meditation

Start two inches below from one's belly button or in the back. And move one's attention in circles with each breath one takes. Starting at one's belly button area going down and around and up the back to the top of the head and then down from the top of the head. Down to the belly button area. One tries to go up the back to the top of the head in one breath and from the top of the head to the belly button area in the next breath.

Laughter Mantra

By just laughing for no other reason but to laugh is a good meditation. It shows that one can laugh whether one is sad or happy. Laughter does not require a mood to laugh. Start one's meditation with a long laugh and it just might be a more pleasant meditation.
