Pray and meditation Positions
One of the purposes of a positioning of the body to pray or meditate is to help calm the mind by the awareness of the pressures, rythems or pulses in one's body. A prayers position puts one in a position to feel the silent music of one's body, and in that way get more in touch with self and a little closer to God.
Moving Praying Hand Exercise
One can create an excerise where one uses one's praying hands while one is standing up. One's praying hands represents individuality and one's soul.. When one moves them up or down one sees a simple demonstration of the "I" in the non-attachment motion-waves.
On the Toilet Exercise
When sitting on the toilet there is a good time to humble yourself by bowing with praying hands before voiding.
Safety belts, gait belts or transfer belts and regular traditional supenders as meditation aides
Safety belts, gait or transfer belts helps to steady and support ones back while sitting straight and thus making it more comfortable on one's back. The disadvantage is they can hamper circulation. The tradition supenders not only hold up one's pants but for breathing meditation it also helps heighten one's awareness of one's breathing by elastic pressure on shoulders, chest amd stomach area. You can feel the supenders expending and contracting as you breath.
