The Ghosts
I had been looking at these in many Halloween displays and just loved them. So I bought a couple of black lights at Walmart for $12.00 each and went over to the craft department and bought a few bags of gauze. Next we ventured over to the laundry soap aisle and found the RYE dyes. I bought 2 boxes of the white. The last thing to pick up was styrofoam wig heads which I purchased for $3.00 each at Sally Beauty Supply.

I took the bags of gauze and stuck them in the wash machine on the gentle cycle along with the Rit Dye. After they were done I let them dry in the the dryer for a few minutes. We stuck a coat hanger wire in the top of the styrofoam head and pushed it clear through the bottom.
I draped the gauze over the head placing it on the front of the face, then I added an additional piece of material running it on the sides of the head. I pinned the material to the ceiling to make arms.
This is how it looked with the black lights and a fan blowing from underneath it.
This one is more shredded.
These looked just great in the dark!
Here is the beef netting on the ceiling and strings of gauze.
Here is an outside shot of the window ghost!
