Bram Stoker's Quote on NOSFERATU
NOSFERATU means VAMPYRE in the Slavik Language & refers to the Original & Most Powerful Vampires of Eastern Europe
This movie was based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" and was going to be called "Dracula" but Murnau did not obtain copyright permission & attempted to disguise the film's storyline and name. He changed "Dracula" to "Graf Orlock" and gave him the appearance of a dead corpse. He was sued for doing this.

The Nosferatu do not die like the bee when he stings. He is only stronger. The Vampire which is amongst us is of himself so strong in person as twenty men, he is of cunning more than mortal, for his cunning be the growth of ages...he can within range, direct the elements, the storm, the fog, the thunder, he can command all the meaner things, the rat and the owl, and the bat, and the wolf and he can at times vanish and come unknown.
