Paul Licuria wins 2001 Copeland Trophy
Congratulations to Paul Licuria of the Collingwood Football Club for winning
the 2001 Copeland Trophy for the best player of the year for his club.

2001 was a tremedous year, not only for Paul, but for the club as well. He played a managing role in the backline, alongside Shane Wakelin, Mark Richardson and Simon Prestigiacomo. Paul also made an appearance on the wing alongside his captain Nathan Buckley, who has also won the Copeland Trophy for the last three consecutive years.

He is not a goal kicker, but rises to the occasion when needed. He is a very reliable player and one of the driving forces behind collingwoods sucess this year.
