Forth and Final Chance For Scott Cummings
Scott Cummings is now a magpie after selection in the pre-season draft. Cummings, a former West Coast Eagle, lands at Collingwood, where most critics believe Cummings has his last chance at. Scotty has played with Essendon, Port Adelaide, and West Coast. Assistant coach Neil Balme said that Cummings would most likely play a forward line role to free up other players such as Jarrod Molloy, James Clement or Nick Davis. It would also allow them to play down the ground as well. It may also prevent the double up on the key forward man Chris Tarrant.

'Woods' pumped up for season 2002
This season expect Collingwood to come out swinging as they start their first genuine finals campaign since 1994. Despite Fraser and Rocca out recovering from the dreaded groin condition, osteitis pubis. The pies still have a special new fleet of young talent such as Tristen Walker. The powerhouse, Nathan Buckley is in fine form, shedding weight like a cat shedding hair. And yet, it may be his last crack at a Brownlow Medal. My Prediction for 2002- A top four position.

It's black and white and their green with envy.
It's official, the TAC is now a major sponsor of the Collingwood Football Club after a $ million-a-year deal to replace a "wipe off five" logo on the Away guensey, as Primus Telecommunications has parted with the Away guensey sponsorship deal. But Collingwood still has their major sponsor Emirates airlines. This deal is now the envy of all AFL clubs with the nearest value deal worth $1.3 million a year held by Essendon though they only have one sponsor Orange Telecommunications. These deals are to remain for 3 years.
