respect for what, you may ask. for animals? surely. for people? no doubt about it. but the lack of respect that pisses me off more than any is the total disrespect automobile-conductors have for the bus. i love taking the bus. i used to live far away from work so i had to take a twenty minute bus ride back and forth. it was a joy. good time to read or write and while i lived there i read five books (medium sized paperbacks) just while riding back and forth on the bus. these minutes of repose on the bus were often interrupted when the bus driver had to slam on the breaks because some tosser on an ego trip cut him off.
i think that we economic folk who like to take the bus, instead of contributing to ever increasing traffic congestion and pollution, deserve some respect too! LONG LIVE THE BUS!
