michael wincott whenever i hear the voice of michael wincott, the butterflies flutter so hard that i go weak at the knees. if you've never heard him, he sounds the way he looks; deep, dark and grating. the consequences beeing that he does a lot of bad guys in movies. the ones that are watchable i've seen a million times and sometimes i don't even watch. just close my eyes and revel in that voice.
another great voice, who is also a lot more "auditory" is tom waits. now, when he started out in music he didn't sound anywhere near as grating as he does today. i think the cigarettes crumpled it up and thank heavens for that!
al pacino also has a great voice. not as deep as michael's but strangely raspy and smooth at the same time.
jeremy irons has a very strange voice which is fun to listen to, and morgan freeman has what i call a "radio voice", very smooth and calming. i'd always listen to the radio if he was on. specially if it was in the evening when i'm going to sleep. no bad dreams with that sound in your subconcious.
