next thing i'd like to mention are hands. one of the body parts that always fascinates me, no matter what size or shape. it's almost a fetish, that one. no matter if they're playing a piano or picking a nose, i can stare at them for hours. the kind i like most though, are long thin ones. david thewlis has piano fingers and rhys ifans' almost defy logic. his fingers are utterly beautiful.
tom waits has absolutely gorgeous hands. they're short and stumpy, but his fingers are a very funny shape. when he plays the piano they form an almost flat u. i can't really describe them. you'll have to find a picture to see. i've only ever seen one person with hands like that, one of my brother's class mates. they're positively freaky.
