PETICIÓ EUROPEA :
UN MILIÓ DE CIUTADANS I CIUTADANES DE LA UNIÓ EUROPEA DEMANEN LA SORTIDA DE L’ENERGIA NUCLEAR

Sota el títol “Un milió d’europeus demanen la sortida de l’energia nuclear”, 48 associacions europees han iniciat una campanya de petició dins de la Unió Europea, en ocasió de l’aniversari de la catàstrofe de Txernòbil, - 26 d’abril.

L’objectiu és aplegar un milió de signatures des del 26 d’abril del 2004 fins el 26 d’abril del 2005 per demanar als governs dels països de la Unió Europea que prenguin, amb tota urgència, les següents mesures:

- aturar o impedir la construcció de nous reactors i instal·lacions nuclears en el si de la Unió Europea
- llançar un pla de sortida de l’energia nuclear a nivell de tota la Unió Europea
- invertir massivament en l’estalvi d’energia i en el desenvolupament de les energies renovables
- revocar el tractat d’EURATOM que finança massivament l’energia nuclear a Europa, mitjançant fons públics.

Només aquestes mesures permetran lluitar contra el perill nuclear i l’escalfament del planeta.

Es pots participar a la campanya de dues maneres:
