Lose The Moment By: spoiledsquish Author's Note: Joss and I reconciled and I convinced him to sign the rights to all his things over to me. *Snorts.* Yeah, in a bizarro world! Joss owns everything. The plot appeared in my head last night as I was trying to fall asleep. Pairings: Aren't you clued in yet? B/A, obviously. Everyone else is fair game. Timeline: Probably 1998. This is an Alternate Universe, okay? Faith and the Gang are all juniors. Summary: Buffy Summers was turned in 1810 in Paris, Italy. She became consort to Angelus until 1898 when Darla, his sire and ex consort, brought him a gypsy girl. Now, 100 years later, Buffy has come to the Hellmouth with Angel's grandchilde Spike to reclaim her sanity. What will happen when her ex lover finds out she's back? Will he help her get back what she wants or will he turn his back on her and lose his true love? Spoilers: Angel has a soul. There's no happiness clause. Faith is the current vampire Slayer, Wesley is her Watcher. Her boyfriend is Gunn, and her friends are Fred, Andrew, and Cordelia. They know Angel is a vampire. He helps them out on fighting and he and Faith are just friends. Don't worry, he's still Broody Angel, and not Dork Angel, thank God! Faith knows that Angel and Buffy, or Buff, as he called her, used to be a thing. She's not aware of the whole story. Spike and Dru are still together, but only Buffy is the crazy one. She's the one that Angelus stalked and drove insane. Dru's totally sane. Make sense? Comprende? Dedications: To Ash, and all the B/A loyalists out there. This fic is for you. And to all the feedbackers who adore my stories. *g* Rating: R. Chapter 1: Ghosts Of The Past ~Sunnydale, CA: 1998~ "That's all the vamps for tonight? Either I'm getting scarier or someone controlling them." Faith said as Angel helped her up. "What do you think?" "Maybe both." Angel said, getting that faraway look on his face. "Hey, you okay?" Faith asked, noticing his brooding trademark. "I didn't mean to upset you." "You didn't." Angel told her. "I was just thinking. About Buffy." "You never told me about her." Faith shrugged as they walked. "What was she like?" "She was incredible." Angel explained. "The perfect mate. Then she went off the deep end." "Before you turned her." Faith recalled a previous conversation. "So, what went wrong?" "I got a soul. She didn't." Angel sighed. "She couldn't handle it. Killing is what made her feel alive in a world where she was dead. It was something she couldn't understand." "And here you are, a hundred and some-odd years later still pining away for your lost love." Faith chuckled. "Amazing. Do you think she's still out there somewhere or do you think she got staked?" Before Angel could answer, a leather clad bleach blonde stepped out of the shadows, his brunette consort by his side. "Spike." Angel growled. "Fresh meat." Spike winked at Faith. "Hello, cutie." "This is William the Bloody?" Faith asked Angel. "You never mentioned him being so well-built." "Faith!" Angel spat. "Sorry." Faith apologized, looking at his consort. "And you must be Drusilla." "What are you doing here?" Angel yelled. "Come on, mate. Can't give old friends give each other a ring every now and then?" Spike chuckled. "I'm here to help a friend. Something's here that she needs. You know, I'm really shocked to see you helping a Slayer. But since you're all soul-having, I suppose it's to be expected." "What does who need?" Angel asked, not caring about Spike's lame talking. "Maybe we should make introductions." Spike said. "Sweet, you get lost? Come on out and say hello to daddy." Angel stopped dead in his tracks once he saw the vampire. It was Buffy. After all these years, she hadn't changed. She was right in front of him, and growling angrily at Faith. "Cat got your tongue, Angelus?" Spike stared at Faith. "You are no match for her. [Points to Buffy] Our girl here may be on the crazy side but she's a wonder in the battlefield. And you should see her in the sack. You told me she was great, Angelus, but you never told me all the things she was willing to do. Well, what's that saying? Share and share alike." "You're her." Faith gasped. "Wow. You're the most fierce female vamp in the world." Buffy didn't say anything and just stared down Angel. He looked at her, desperately wanting to go to her. "His soul."Buffy clutched her head. "Spike..No. No!" "What pet?" Spike asked. "It's bound, William." Buffy concluded. "No amount of majick will change that. [Looks at Faith] I'm going to kill you." "And here I thought we were just playing." Faith rolled her eyes. "Looks like you've never dealt with a Slayer." "I know all the tricks of the trade." Buffy giggled. "I was a Slayer once too. Best of my kind. Until Angelus here came and killed everyone I knew. I still remember their screams. What will your family scream when they find your body?" "Come on, ducks. Let's go." Spike told both the vampires. "Goodbye, my Angel. I'll see you soon." Buffy snarled as she disappeared. "So, I guess vacation's off the menu?" Faith asked when the three vampires were out of sight. "Oh, fuck." T.B.C. Feedback is my middle name. Actually, it's not. Please review. What's that I hear? You'll review only if I give you a preview of my next chappie?..[Silence] Okay, you talked me into it. Preview: ~ Angel stared at his blonde goddess, recalling the look of hate that gleamed into her golden eyes. "I'm sorry, baby. " Angel told her. "I'm sorry for what I did to you. I never meant to leave you." "You did." Buffy snarled at him. "Like the vampire that you are, you left me to die. Do you remember their screams, my Angel? All the torture and the blood we inflicted on those innocents? You are just like them. Cattle waiting to be slaughtered. And I'm going to be the one to make you pay." ~ *********************** Chapter 2: Confronting One's Sins A/N: Obviously, I flunked Geography in 9th grade. One of my reviewers, Pocket Jericho, happened to point out that Paris is in France and not Italy. I was spaced when I typed my summary. Deal with it. I also wanted to reiterate that this is a B/A story. So, any fans of other ships such as A/C and B/S can just pass this story by. If you're not a fan of the B/A ship, then what's the point in reading it? I don't mean to offend anyone, but I'm gonna sick of Spuffy and A/C fans telling my ship that we're living in 'denial'. I mean, without the B/A breakup there would never have been room for the B/S and A/C ships. I want to thank Ash at ff.net (I have this story posted in to different places) and Britanyca at Enchanting Place. Both of them have been backing my story up 100%. Thanks much to you both. Sorry this chappie has taken so long to get out at ff.net. Note: Buffy is not a souled vampire. She is very much without a soul. She just tends to go in and out from being insane to being soulless. I know she kinda tends to seem like she has a soul, but f.y.i. no soul. ~Restfield Cemetary: 2 Nights Later~ Angel threw a kick to the male vampire's groin. He seized the opportunity to stake his kind. He dusted the vamp ashes off his clothing when he got the tingling sensation that Buffy was near. "Buffy." Angel called out to her. "Buffy?" "He was stupid." Buffy said as she wandered closer to him from a nearby tree. "Such a waste of blood and maiming." "Spike let you out to fetch me?" Angel asked. "Or did you come alone?" "Silly rabbit." Buffy chuckled. "Spike has no control over me. I control him. I go where I want, when I want. He knows his place." "And where exactly is that?" Angel asked, hurt flashing across his face. "With Dru, of course." Buffy shrugged. "He didn't leave when he got neutered by the vet, you know? Not that he ever got neutered. He knew all about family. Unlike you, Angelus. You know nothing about loyalty. You just know about pain and torture." "I also know about love." He moved closer, so that their bodies were inches apart. He stared at his blonde goddess, recalling the look of hate that radiated from her golden eyes. "I'm so sorry, baby." Angel apologized. "I'm sorry for what I turned you into. I'm sorry for leaving you." "You're 'sorry'?" Buffy growled. "You expect me to just forgive you? Fuck that. Like the deranged vampire that you are, you left me to die. Do you remember their screams, my Angel? All the torture and the blood we inflicted on all those innocents? You are just like them. Cattle waiting to be slaughtered. And I'm going to be the one that makes you pay." "I won't let you." Angel retorted. "You can't stop me." Buffy argued back. "You taught me everything I know and then some. I can just hear the screams of your Slayer-bitch now. She'll go fast, much like the rest of them. But you.you'll go slowly and painfully, no doubt." "Why not just stake me, then?" Angel snapped back. "It's faster. Not as much cleanup." "Because." Buffy licked the side of his face. "You're much more fun when you beg." "I don't want to have to hurt you, Buffy." Angel sighed. "That's the part I always enjoyed, though." Buffy clutched at her head and took an unnecessary breath. "Pain. Death. Torture. You mistake them for their worth, Angel. It's a part of life." "And killing people for no damn reason is a part of life too?" Angel growled. "Buffy, I know you can't understand why I've chosen to help a Slayer." "You turned your back on us, Angelus." Buffy moved away from him. "I got a soul." Angel shrugged. "Not that. Before." Buffy frowned and glared furiously. "When you and Darla used to go out feeding, leaving me stuck to babysit Spike and Dru. I watched from outside at you fucked Darla before you sucked that gypsy dry. I knew what was gonna happen and I came to warn you." "When did you see that?" Angel asked. "About an hour after you left with her." Buffy told him. "Now, I have to go and save my family." "You know I'll kill you before I let you hurt the Slayer or any of her friends." Angel promised her. "That's what I'm counting on." Buffy winked before she pressed her lips to his. Buffy felt his tongue dart out at hers, begging for entry. Both tongues battled for dominance, neither willing to back down. The blonde vampiress tangled her fingers in her sire's hair and felt his muscular arms grip her hips. Spike watched from a few feet away as the lovers broke out into a heated make out session. Why was his sire making out with his grandsire? They were supposed to be mortal enemies now, not each other's fuck buddies. "Angel."Buffy moaned and arched against him. "Make love to me, my Angel." "Buffy." Angel pulled slightly away to look into her eyes. "I can't, you're weak." "I can't fucking believe this!" Spike growled at the two of them. "Poof's been celibate for what, a hundred years already? And your girl, who anyone can see that you're still madly taken by, asks you to fuck her and you say, 'I can't. You're weak.' Please! I've heard better lines from the telly. Did your girl tell you the real reason we're in Sunny Hell?" "To kill the Slayer?" Angel asked, but growled when Spike put his arm around Buffy. "No, Peaches. That's just a fun kill." Spike chuckled. "Your mate's in need of a cure. She's dying, Angelus. And no amount of Hell Mary's are gonna save her when we get it." "What's the cure?" Angel groaned. "If I knew that, think I'd tell you?" Spike laughed. "Actually, we have a lead. Good as gold, too." "Which is?" Angel retorted. "You, mate." Spike grinned as his minions knocked him out and dragged him to the factory. Spike led them all to Buffy's room. "Just don't kill him until the ritual, sire." Spike warned Buffy and left. "You're awake." Buffy smiled when Angel pulled on the chains. Angelus was chained to her bed, half naked. "So, you're gonna torture me." Angel said weakly. "You catch on quickly, lover." Buffy chuckled as she put her legs around his waist. "The ritual needs your blood, Spike's ready to dust you, but you should be happy that I'm a good convincer. You remember how convincing I am, don't you? I had convinced Wills and Xand that I'd faked my death right before I ripped their throats out. All the blood spilling out everywhere. It kept singing to me for days after we'd gutted them like seabass. All the pretty colors." "Buffy.." Angel interrupted. "Bite your tongue!" Buffy growled and moved away. "You did this to them. You destroyed everything. I had dreams of us, my Angel. Visions of you long before you walked into my life, You called out to me." "Buffy, I can help you." Angel promised as the blonde vampires clutched her head once more. "Just let me out and I'll help you." "I may be crazy, love, but I'm not dense." Buffy told him. "You want out so you can run to your little band of packrats and tell them all about Spike and his plans. I was with you for many decades. Sorry, love." "How's it goin'?" Spike asked as he waltzed into the room. "Are you having fun, sweet?" "Lots." Buffy forced a smile. "How soon before my ritual?" "Few days." Spike looked at Angel. "And where's the bruised flesh? You haven't even started marking him yet, pet? This is a record for you." "Just wait, Spike." Buffy hinted. "All good things come to those who wait." "And you've waited one hundred years." Spike recalled. "Don't worry, mate. She'll make it entirely kinky for you." Spike grabs Buffy and kissed her hard on the mouth, forcing his tongue down her throat. (Okay, now I'm ready to faint while barfing! This is crucial to story, crucial to story!) Buffy heard Angel growl as Spike tried to probe her mouth. "Go, Spike." Buffy growled as she pulled away. "Go prepare for my party." After Spike was out of sight, Buffy fetched the key to Angel's chains. She unlocked them and felt Angel's arms loosen. "You're free, love." Buffy clicked her tongue and waited a few moments. "Why aren't you moving?" "This ritual's gonna kill me, right?" Angel asked. "That's why Spike is so gung ho about it." "You always were a quick learner." Buffy's eyes met his. "Spike told me I had to better for what's coming." "So, killing me solves that problem?" Angel asked her. "More or less." Buffy nodded. "He's going to kill that Slayer-bitch you're so keen on helping. Wants to gut her into little pieces." "Why'd you unchain me?" Angel wondered. "'Cuz I want to see her die with you trying to protect her." Buffy told him and shoved Holy Water in his face. "Goodbye, my Angel. See you in Hell." Buffy watched as her mate ran out of the room. T.B.C. Here endeth chappie two. Here's a preview for Chappie 3: ~ "So, your ex is gonna try to kill me?" Faith asked. "Don't mock Angel, Faith." Wesley scolded his Slayer. "Can she do it, Angel?" "Yeah." Angel nodded. "She has power over them." "Then we must train you." Wesley told Faith. "Look, if Blondie wants to go up against me, I'm well prepared." Faith heard Angel's low growl. "I'm sorry, Angel. I know she's your mate or whatever, but a girl's gotta protect her family. You had to have known it would come down to this." "You kill her and I'll kill you." Angel threatened her. "Then let the games begin." Faith said, walking out of the library. ~ ****************************************** Chapter 3: Death Threats A Knockin' A/N: Sorry it took so long to get chapter 2 out. I just want to thank everyone who's been sending feedback. I just want to keep reiterating that this IS a B/A story. There's no B/S (except for the kiss in chappie 2). Get it? Good. ~Sunnydale High Library- 1:09 a.m. ~ "Okay, why'd you call Wes and I here in the middle of the night?" Faith grumbled. "I was doing this thing called sleeping. I'm starting to think you have no idea what the word means, Angel." "Vampires do sleep, Faith." Angel corrected her. "The point is Spike and his minions captured me tonight. Buffy let me go." "Buffy let you go?" Faith scoffed. "Man that girl is whack!" "Don't talk about her like that!" Angel growled. "Look, I am not here to discuss Buffy with you. I got information from her while I was in chains." "Chains?" Faith chuckled. "Man, you don't waste any time, huh, sport? I never knew you were kinky like that." "She tied me up." Angel continued. "Anyway, she told me that Spike was going to kill you, Faith. Hell, she even made death threats against you." "So, your ex is gonna try to kill me?" Faith asked. "Don't mock, Faith!" Wesley scolded his Slayer. "Can she do it, Angel?" "Yeah." Angel nodded. "She has power over the rest of them. They'd do anything for her." "We must train you for it, Faith." Wesley told her. "You've got to be ready." "Look, I don't mean to rain on anybody's parade here, but if Blondie wants to go up against me, fine. I'll deal." Faith explained, hearing Angel's low growl. "I'm sorry, Angel. I know she's your mate or whatever, but a girl's got to protect her family. You had to have known it would come to this." "You kill her and I'll kill you." Angel growled fiercely. "Is that a threat?" Faith asked. "I don't say things I don't mean." Angel snapped. "Then let the games begin." Faith replied, walking out of the library. The brunette Slayer wasn't paying any attention when she ran into a leather clad redheaded female. "I'm sorry." Faith apologized and helped the red haired girl gather her bag's contents. "I'm Faith." "Willow." she smiled. "Hey, could you use a lift?" "My car's actually just right over there." Faith pointed to a yellow VW Beetle. "Maybe I'll see you at the Bronze or school sometime?" "Yeah. You'll see me around soon." Willow agreed and moved inside the school. Willow heard voices and tracked them down to the library where Angel and a brown haired man were still conversing. "Puppy!" Willow squealed. "Mistress will be so pleased that I relocated you." She tiptoes out of the school and off to the factory. Meanwhile, Wesley and Angel continue their conversation. "Faith needs to realize the reality of the situation. She could die, Wesley." Angel sighed. "When I turned Buffy, I taught her everything about the hunt. I taught her how to fight, how to escape without getting caught. Faith is a smart girl, Wes. Although I truly believe she is very naïve when she thinks that she survive every battle she has to face." "The question is can she survive your mate, Angel?" Wesley asked. "I've searched the Watcher's Diaries. Rupert Giles, Buffy's Watcher, has reiterated time and time again that Buffy's very stubborn and she likes to do things her own way. He also says that she didn't take orders well." "No, she doesn't." Angel agreed. "Rupert watched me drain her right in front of him that night. I saw the fear in both their eyes as I killed her. Never did figure out what happened to good ole Rupes. Ran off before Buffy woke." "He was my great-uncle five times over or something like that on my mother's side." Wesley answeres. "He had so many plans for your beloved Buffy. He thought of her like a daughter: so full of life. A life she had yet to lead." "And I wanted her in the dark...with me." Angel said. "I feel I should warn you now, Wesley. Buffy's a dangerous animal. Don't think she's not capable of evil just because she's mentally unstable and looks ordinary. Aside from Angelus, she was the most vicious creature in the history of mankind." "Thank you, Angel." Wesley nodded. "Best to get some rest. I'll need you to patrol with Faith for the next couple of weeks. Better safe than sorry." "I know." Angel said. "Good luck, Wes." "I'll call you soon." Wesley retreated back into his office. The current Watcher opened up his Diaries for references to Buffy and other Slayers. He searched what their connections were, what Buffy's supposed ritual entailed, etc. "That's it." Wesley sighed happily after hours of searching. He picked up the phone and dialed Angel. "Hey, it's Wesley. I need you to get down here as soon as possible. I've got some good news." T.B.C. Here's a preview of chapter 4. ~ "You let him out?! How could you, Buffy?" Drusilla snapped at her lover's sire. "Bite your tongue, grandchilde." Buffy growled. "I don't have to justify my decisions to you. I am the Master here, not you. You obey me. Angel will be back by week's end. I feel it." "You're wrong, ducks." Spike walked into the factory with an unconscious black man. "Your sire and that Slayer-bitch will be back sooner than that. We have something they want." "He's delicious." Dru gleamed. "Thank you, love." "Not for you, pet." Spike moved towards Buffy. "He's yours, Sire." "I should rip your childe's tongue out." Buffy smiled at Spike. "Luckily for you, William, I'm in a torturing mood. Contact the Watcher, make a trade. Angel's blood for this mortal's. That's how you get what you want, love."~ Please send feedback! I wanna know what you think! ******************************************* Chapter 4: Lashing Out A/N: Thanks to everyone who's been sending feedback and waiting almost two months for me to update the fic. I finally found the notebook where I had the chappies up to chappie 4 (cuz that's all I had written) stashed. Just a quick note though. Darla is Angel's Sire, Angel is Buffy's Sire, Buffy is Spike's Sire and Spike is Dru's Sire. I remembered School Hard when Spike said that Angel was his Sire and it just...I just wanted it that way. Remember that because I am a fanfiction author, I can twist things around to amuse my tortured little mind. ~The Factory : The Next Morning ~ "Where's Granddaddy?" Drusilla beamed as she walked in on Buffy draining the life our of some blonde teenager. "Right where I prefer him to be, Dru." Buffy shrugged and dropped the body to the floor. "Don't concern yourself with it." "One of Spike's minions claim that they saw him with that Slayer out hunting late last night, after they captured him." Dru argued. "He was chained in here with you. Where is he, grandmummy?" "Ha ha." Buffy smirked. "I let Angelus go. He's of no use to us at this point, Dru." "He's your cure!" Dru growled. "Must you listen to that non-beating heart of yours every time you see him? He clouds your judgment. A judgment that you make for all of us." "You're way off base." Buffy spat. "I let him out for a reason. A reason that I don't need to explain to you. Angelus is my mate...mine. I do what I please." "You let him out?! How could you, Buffy?" Drusilla growled at her lover's sire. "Bite your tongue, grandchilde!" Buffy ordered. That's how you get what you want, love." T.B.C. Okay, I know the chappie's really short. I just liked the last line so much I couldn't bear to write any more that would demote its influence in the story, you know? I want to thank everyone who's still showing an interest in the story. I've been thinking about throwing in another Buffyverse character into the mix, who hasn't already been introduced yet. I had my heart set on Doyle, Amy, maybe even Oz. If you have any ideas, whether the character was listed or not, contact me by email. Also, Xander WILL be in the story. I don't know when or how, but he'll be here. ************************** Chapter 5: Unlikely Allies Willow rushed to the factory. She found Buffy in her room, snoozing. The vampires waked up her Sire. "Mistress!" Willow shook her. "Willow, I was sleeping!" Buffy showed her vamp face. "What is it?" "Angelus is consorting with that Watcher again." Willow told her. "And?" Buffy asked. "I think they are planning something." Willow told Buffy. "And I have the strangest feeling it is related to you." "Keep an eye on them, Willow. Especially that Slayer I told you about. Did you meet her yet?" Buffy inquired. "Yes. She seems sweet." Willow smirked. "I'll have so much fun breaking her." "Thats my girl." Buffy chuckled. "Now, let me sleep, okay?" "Yes, mistress." Willow nodded and exited the room. "What now?!" Buffy yelled when she heard footsteps enter her bedroom minutes later. "Willow, I told you! Leave me alone!" "Sorry, princess." the voice called. "No can do." "Who the fuck are you?!" Buffy growled. "A messenger from the Powers That Be." the man said. "And the name is Doyle." "The Powers That Be?! Puh-lease. What would the Powers That Be want with a killer like me?" Buffy snapped. "They want you to work for them." Doyle continued. "You're a key player in an upcoming battle, Buffy. They need you--" "On the side of good? No, thank you!" Buffy told him. "I have both been there and done that, okay? I prefer being me." "A soulless animal?" Doyle scoffed. "You just want that precious guy of yours. What was his name? Angelus. He's a key player in the battle too. Although I don't believe you fight side by side. Attack each other is more like it. Don't you want to know what happens?" "No, thanks!" Buffy vamped out. "Now, here's the part where you try to run away." "I'd hold off on the killing me, love." Doyle clicked his tongue. "You kill me and your precious Angelus will never be yours again." "Talk." Buffy told him. "The gist is that the PTB want to give you your soul back." Doyle told her. "They want you and Angel fighting on the same side. Without the two of you, the Earth will crumble. Everyone dies, which means 'No Happy Meals On Legs' for any vamps." "So, you expect me to bow down and let you neuter me?" Buffy laughed. "I get to save the world again. I can't *fucking* believe this." "Have you reached a decision then?" Doyle asked. "Yes. I have." Buffy said with a grin on her face. "I have indeed." T.B.C. If you want to know what Buffy's decision is, stay tuned for chapter 6 and please send feedback. If feedback is not sent, this story will not be finished and will be permanently shelved. *********************** Chapter 6: The Agreement "Have you reached a decision then?" Doyle asked. "Yes. I have." Buffy said with a grin on her face. "I have indeed." "And, what, may I ask, is your decision?" Doyle inquired. "If I decide to take this agreement, I have some things I want straightened out." Buffy explained. "First off, not one hair is to be harmed on my Angel's head. That means if anything goes wrong and he dies, I swear to you that the PTB wont know what hit them after Im done with them. I want my Angel's soul bound. I know about the curse, Doyle. I know that if Angel experiences a moment of true happiness, he will lose his soul. I can't allow that to happen, seeing as how I'm going to let you neuter me." "You mean--?" Doyle asked. "Yes, I'll take the agreement." Buffy sighed. "But, I need a few days. I have to think of a plan to lose Sid and Nancy, and Red here." "Of course." Doyle nodded. "Doyle, dont fuck with me." Buffy threatened. "If this is some ploy that the PTB thought up just to fuck with me or my family, I swear that people--demons and humans alike-- will start dropping like flies around here. Now, go. Before someone catches you here." "You wont regret this, Buffy." Doyle promised her. "You better be telling the truth." Buffy agreed. ~ The Bronze: A Week Later ~ "Cool band, huh?" Faith asked Angel. "Yeah, whatever." Angel spoke as he scanned the Bronze. "Okay, Mr. Oblivious." Faith scowled. "I know you're scanning for Buffy. What is it about her that gets you all worked up? She's a vampire, for fucks sake!" "She's not just any vamp, Faith." Angel argued. "None of you have any idea what she's capable of. Her damage isn't in the Watchers Diaries because I took the fall for her. She was worse than Angelus, especially with the torture and everything." "Look, there's Gunn." Faith lit up when she saw her boyfriend walk in. "Sorry to bail on you, but Gunn and I haven't had any alone time since Wes started to up the training. Later." "She gets her jacket and goes over to her boyfriend, who's waiting happily for her." "Oh, Puppy's being all quiet." A voice stated. "Is Puppy sad now?" "Willow." Angel turned to the voice. "Did Buffy send you?" "Mistress always sends me, Puppy." Willow laughed. "Had to make sure that Slayer wasn't getting into your pants." "Where's Buffy?" Angel asked, his patience wearing thin. "Mistress left for a few days. She spoke of having to take care of some Angel-y business." Willow sighed. "I assume she's going to let Angelus out to play. Wouldnt that be fun, Puppy?" "Get out of here, Willow." Angel growled. "And tell your master that if she hurts Faith, a stake wont be the only thing she's going to have rammed into her heart." ***************************
