Chapter ONE:

Buffy Sat quietly in her room, she had just seen Angel and she had to 

tell

Riley about Forest. She frowned at the look on Riley’s face, It had 

been

about Four hours and still no call from him, she looked towards the 

phone

and then back at the door. She stood grabbing her jacket off the bed 

and

leaving. The dorm was loud, it was the Christmas holiday soon, she 

cringed

at the thought, especially since all this was happening. It was windy 

and

fairly chilly Buffy wrapped her jacket around herself tighter and 

headed

towards her mothers place.

He knew he shouldn’t be there, that he should of left, but, he couldn’t 

he

needed to talk to her more, he turned down revello drive and walked 

closer.

Buffy smiled at the smell of fall, it had been a lot colder the past 

few

years since…. She frowned toward her house, the lights were off and it

didn’t seem like anyone was home, mom or Dawn., she dug through her 

purse

stumbling up the stairs she bumped into someone at the top she looked 

up

from her feet.

“ Angel?” He smiled shyly and looked at her. “ Buffy”. She melted at 

his

voice, he looked so handsome in the moonlight.

She un locked the door and let him inside.” Mom, Dawn.” she yelled.

“ I uh.. seen them leave talking about a movie, and dinner.” Buffy 

looked at

him her mouth formed a o.

“ Oh, well… She turned on the lights. She looked at him and smiled.

“ Coffee.” He smiled and walked and sat at the table.” Sure.” She 

poured

them two cups of coffee and she joined him at the table. They sipped 

thier

coffee, not saying anything.

“ How’s Riley” Angel asked looking at his cup. Buffy sighed and looked 

at

him “ He’s a little upset.” Angel looked to her and moved closer.

“ Buffy, I shouldn’t of came, I’m sorry, I didn’t come to attack him, I 

just

wanted to…”

“ Angel it’s okay he’s mad but he’ll deal, that’s not the problem, his

friend died today, he’s pretty hurt.”

Angel frowned and titled his head to look at her.” I’m sorry, I didn’t

know.” He said quietly. She smiled and moved closer to him grabbing his

hand.

“ Can we go in the living room, more comfortable there.” He nodded and

followed her to the living room they sat.

“ I’m sorry for what I said to you .” Buffy said quietly. Angel looked

deeply into her green eyes.Tears formed them.

He moved closer placing his finger on her lips. “ I know , I shouldn’t 

of

hit you… I’m so sorry, Buffy.” She watched him planting his face into 

her

memory.

She didn’t even think twice she moved in coming closer , inches from 

his

lips, she breathed heavily and Angel froze, she kissed him sofly then

roughly searching for his tongue he opened for her, they kissed heavily 

for

a couple of minutes not wanting to let go, she finally pulled a way 

panting

heavily.

“ I lied to you.” She said staring intensly at him. He looked down at 

her

watching her closely.

“ What? What did you lie to me about.” She moaned leaning her head on 

his

shoulder.

“ About Riley and Me..” He looked at her confused.” I … I don’t love 

him…..”

she said looking up at him then do the door.Riley stood at the door.

watching.

"Riley" She whispered.............

Buffy looked from Riley to Angel and back to Riley, oh god, Riley . 

Buffy

cringed she didn't want Angel to leave but Riley seen them .

" Buffy" Riley said sternly as he entered the room staring angrily at 

Angel.

Angel stared at him and then stood. " I'd better be going, thanks for 

the

coffee Buffy." He walked towards the door glaring at the boy.

" keep her safe." he growled walking into the night. Buffy watched him 

go

and stood grabbing Riley's arm. " Sit, I'll be back." Buffy rushed 

behind

Angel stepping outside she found him sitting on her steps.

" Angel, I.......

" Don't worry Buffy I'll be fine, go back..... talk to Riley, I"ll call 

you

soon."

Tears formed Buffy's eyes and she hugged him and he hugged her back.

" I love you." He said kissing her forehead. Tears fell from her eyes 

and

he brushed them away." I love you too Angel." he stood and walked to 

the

road turning back he stared at her and then he was gone.

Buffy entered, Riley was sitting staring at his hands not looking up to 

her.

" He's gone now right no more catching you to together." He said 

getting up

and walking to the kitchen she watched frowning at him.

" I'm sorry Riley he just came to see how I was, he's gone." She tried 

hard

to not let Riley noticed the tears.

" are you alright, I haven't seen you in a while." Buffy asked walking

closer to him and grabbing his hand he pulled away fast looking to her 

and

then to the door.

" I'm fine, I need to go." he grabbed his jacket leaving her house. She

watched him go crying lightly.

One year later....

It had been a year now and for a couple of months ago s mom had got 

sick,

Riley and her weren't getting along and Glory wasn't making anything 

better

she sighed sitting on the hospital chair. Dawn sat beside her sleeping

peacefully .

Riley sighed and stood from the bar and walked towards the bathroom a 

girl

watched him go and she followed him out the door and into the night.

Dawn stirred and seen Buffy standing by the phone, she stood walking up 

to

her she moved in closer not letting her sister notice her.

" Hi , I ummm my mom she's not any better, I decided to go back home, 

I'm

sure your busy I just needed to I don't know talk maybe later. I .... I 

love

you Angel." She hung up the phone and Dawn spun her around staring 

intensely

at him.

" What are you doing Buffy." Dawn asked Angrily." Nothing I was trying 

to

get a hold of someone.

Dawn stared angrily at her sister and snarled." Riley is hurting cause 

you

won't let him in and now I know why." she said placing her hands on her

hips.

Buffy frowned and walked closer to her placing her hand on Dawn's 

shoulder.

" Dawn it's not like that I...." Buffy said watching her sister's anger 

rise

she pushed passed Buffy glaring intensely at the new body standing in 

front

of her.

" You shouldn't be here." Dawn said Angrily. Angel smiled at her and 

hugged

her , a smile formed Buffy's lips and she walked closer to him.

" Angel?" He smiled and grabbed her hugging her tightly. The doctor 

came

over and told them they could go, Buffy looked to Dawn and then to 

Angel.

" I need to see her, hold on..." Buffy said, going into the room.

It had been about an hour and Dawn was angry she watched Angel he was

sitting so peacefully on the chair by her mothers room, she loved Angel 

he

had always been protective over her she didn't want to be here any 

more, she

wanted to go. Angel looked away and she hurried out of the 

corridor.Buffy

closed the door and found Angel , He stood watching her smiling 

slightly.

" Buffy, how is she?" He asked handing her a cup of coffee. She smiled

slightly and grabbed her coat sitting on the chair.

" Good, tired but good. Where's Dawn." She asked searching the long 

hallway.

Angel shrugged and looked towards her and back to the hallway.

Buffy sighed hesitating for a moment she grabbed his hand entwining his

fingers with hers..

" Come with me , stay with me tonight." He looked at her cautiously and

squeezed her hand following her out the door.

It was a cold night the wind got stronger and Buffy shivered, Angel 

noticed

and pulled off his jacket placing it over her shoulders. They walked in

silence towards her house, Buffy smiled slightly at the warmth of 

Angel's

jacket, memories of him flooded her, their first kiss, him giving her 

his

jacket, and their love making, tears flooded her eyes and he squeezed 

her

hand looking down at her.

" You okay love," he asked staring intensely at her, they walked up the

stairs and Angel growled vamping out and turning to his childe.

" Spike! What are you doing here." Angel said letting go of Buffy's 

hand and

punching him hard. Spike flew across the lawn landing hard beside the 

tree.

Buffy rushed to Angel grabbing his arm.

" He's good, now he has a chip can't hurt anyone. she looked to Spike 

and

back to him. " long story." she turned to Spike and stood over him 

looking

down at him angrily.

" What do you want Spike." she asked placing her hands on her hips. He

glanced at her and then to Angel he stood and brushed his hands.

" there's something you might want to see, luv." he said lighting a

cigarette.Angel growled and grabbed him by the neck.

" Spike ! Don't you ever call her luv." he said snarling heavily at his

grandchild. Buffy watched and sighed loudly making them both look at 

her.

" Come on , quit with the jealous act, what do you want Spike." She 

asked.

Angel let him go of him but watched him intensely. Spike took another 

drag

of his smoke and looked towards her.

" Follow me slayer." Spike said heading up the street towards town. 

Angel

and Buffy walked in silence and Angel growled silently, he wouldn't let

Spike get to her, no matter how good he says he is.

They entered the building and Buffy gawked. There were tons of vampire

sucking each others blood , men and female..

" Spike what is this." Buffy asked and Angel grabbed her hand pulling 

her

closer.

" Spike." Angel growled.." Why were you wanting to bring Buffy here,." 

he

asked and looked around, it seemed the vampires noticed Buffy but 

continued

on with their pleasure.

Spike turned and walked up the stairs opening the door quietly he 

looked at

Buffy pulling her in, Buffy hesitated pulling back from Spike's grip, 

she

looked from him into the room it was dark and she could hear voices a 

man

moaned...

" Ooh my god." she walked closer staring at Riley. Riley heard her and

looked up realizing the vampire whore was still on him he pushed her 

off

standing up abruptly.

Angel heard her gasp and he stomped in the room bumping into Spike he 

then

realized why, Finn.

" Buffy, It's not what it seems." Riley stammered walking closer.

Buffy's eyes turned dark and she glared at him tears forming her eyes. 

She

turned and ran from the room...the building.

Riley looked to Angel and Angel snarled at Spike leaving them , He ran

through the house and outside he could sense her, she wasn't far, he 

turned

he and found her in the cemetery.

" Buffy." He said sitting on the grass beside her. He looked at her 

lovingly

and moved closer.

" I.... I don't know what to say." She said looking at her hands and 

then to

him. He watched not saying anything .

" Does it say, why don't you go fuck a vampire on my forehead or what." 

She

said sternly standing up and kicking the gravestone.

" Buffy." Angel said getting up and standing in front of her he smiled

slightly and brushed a hair from her face.

" Buffy We need to talk I have something to tell you." He said averting 

her

gaze.

" What Angel , what is it." Buffy asked..

Buffy stared at him frightened of what he needed to tell her. " What 

,Angel

What is it." Angel looked at her ,the look in his eye's was something 

she

couldn't get out of her mind.

" Please, Angel your scaring me." she said . He pulled her close and 

kissed

her forehead,

" Buffy, Darla, she's back..... and Human."

" What...'" she said stumbling backwards and tripping on a rock.

" I believe she's back, but everyone thinks I am hallucinating, I..." 

Buffy

stared at him cautiously and leaning closer to him.

" If she is we. will find away, but Glory she's a lot to handle right 

now,

and mom. Are you sure she's back?" Buffy asked.

" W/H wants to mess with me so this is pretty likely." He said rubbing 

his

forehead..

" Angel darling, Were are you." Darla said she brushed his face with 

her

fingers grinning at her widely.

Angel looked at her weirdly." Darla , where is Buffy." Angel asked.

Darla snarled showing her fangs. " Does it always come to her, luv, why

when she doesn't need you like i do." Darla purred into his ear and 

bite

down lightly.

Buffy stared at Angel he looked blankly passed her she waved her hand 

in

front of him.

" Angel, Angel," said screamed he didn't answer she shook him and he 

looked

to her.

" Buffy, Did you see her." He asked looking around. Buffy looked at him

worriedly and grabbed his hand.

" Who, Angel." He gazed around the cemetery." Darla, she was here.?" 

Buffy

looked at him and shook her head.

" Come Angel we need to go, come home with me." He obliged and followed 

her.

Riley walked down the street following behind Buffy and Angel, he 

snarled

lightly and looked towards the cemetery, he wasn't going to let Angel 

get

her, he would kill Angel before he would let him touch her.

He turned the corner heading towards his house. He smiled and opened 

the

door, he knew just the way too.

Glory smiled at the two witches, they seemed to be doing something she

didn't want she crept closer to listen.

" here me astra, here me call for you... Tara chanted.

" Astra, astra, come before us." The room shook and Glory watched 

holding on

to the wall.

Glory Howled and stormed into the room." Don't you dare, you bitch." 

she

yelled grabbing Willow and slamming her into the wall. She ran to Tara 

and

kicked the candle making the spell stop.

" This you'll pay for." Glory roared grabbing tara and disappearing 

into the

night.

" Noooooooooooooo, Tara." Willow screamed scrambling up from the ground

chasing after them.

Buffy and Angel walked back in silence to her house, the lights were 

still

off, Buffy searched for her keys finding them she opened the door 

leading

Angel up the stairs and into her bedroom she stripped him and put him 

into

her bed.

She left and headed to the bathroom and washed her face and brushed her

teeth. She entered her room shredding her clothes and laying beside 

him, she

stared at him intensely into his deep brown eyes, he seemed in a trance 

she

watched him worriedly.

She moved in closer draping her arm over his stomach, she traced his 

stomach

hair with her finger all the way down to his boxers, he sighed and 

looked

down at her hugging her closer.

“ I love you Angel, I never stopped.” she said kissing his chest 

lightly, he

kissed the top of her head, gently and laid his head on hers, they 

closed

their eyes enjoying the moment.

“ Buffy.” he whispered. “ yes Angel.”

“ Do you think I’m going crazy.” he asked and She shook her head 

smiling

slightly.

“ No Angel. Sleep will talk tomorrow.” she was fast asleep. He watched 

her

as she slept peacefully , he implanted her sleeping form in his mind 

again

and closed his eyes hugging her tighter.

Willow wiped the tears from her eyes and headed to Buffy’s house, she 

should

be home by now since it was daylight, she glanced at her watch it was 

six am

she knocked on the door.

KNOCK, KNOCK

Angel stirred and opened his eyes he could hear someone knocking he 

looked

over to Buffy she was in a deep sleep he groaned and slipped out of 

bed,

putting his pants on he left the sleeping slayer and headed to the 

door, he

peered outside to see an upset Willow.

He opened the door moving back quickly trying not to get burned. Willow

looked at him confused and entered the house shutting the door behind 

her.

“Angel, what are.. Is Buffy here?” she asked shivering from the cold. 

Angel

grabbed her arm bringing her into the living room and going into the 

kitchen

and making coffee. He waited for it to be do be done and poured two 

cups and

heading back into the living room handing Willow one of them.

She smiled slightly and accepted it taking a sip of the hot liquid.

“ Thank you “ She said staring down at her feet. He looked at her and 

moved

beside her.

“ What happened Willow , what’s wrong.” he asked.

“ Glory she got Tara, they are gone.” she said tears filling her eyes.

Angel frowned and stood.

“ We will find her. I’ll call Giles,” He said going to the phone.

Buffy stirred and awoke looking to the empty spot beside her, she 

sighed and

tears filled her eyes, Angel always did this to her she wiped her tears 

and

dressed putting a white tank top and jogging pants on she brushed her 

hair

placing it in a ponytail. She left the room walking down the stairs .

The aroma of coffee filled her nose and she felt him, her eyes grew

brighter and she turned the corner running into him. He smiled at her 

and

she felt like she was in heaven.

“ Angel, you’re here.” she said hugging him tightly. He smiled and 

hugged

her back.

“ Of course why wouldn’t I be,” He asked kissing her forehead.

Buffy lifted her head and smiled at him noticing Willow behind them .

“ Will, hi, what’s up?” Willow looked sadly at her and passed her 

friend a

coffee.

“ Glory she has Tara.” she said catching a tear fall from her eyes.

Buffy looked to Angel and rushed to Willow holding her tight.

“ Shhhh Will, we’ll get her back I promise.” She led Willow up the 

stairs

and into her room.

“ Have you slept yet.” she asked her and Willow shook her head no.

Buffy pulled back the covers laying her friend down and covering her.

“ Sleep Will, Angel and I will go see Giles.” Willow nodded and laid 

her

head on the pillow sobbing gently.

Buffy left the room finding Angel at the table staring at the window.

“ We were amazing weren’t we, we ruled the world, everyone was scared 

of us…

“ Darla said sitting on Angel’s lap. She bit down on his neck purring

loudly.

“ Why did they bring me back , turn me Angel make me alive again.” she

kissed him patiently grabbing for his flesh.

Buffy leaned against the door and stared at him strangly she watched 

his

facial expressions, wondering what he was thinking about, she crept 

closer

sitting in the chair beside her.

“ We need to go see Giles, he needs to know.” she sid looking closely 

at

him. He shook his head and looked at her.

“ Buffy? Uh sorry what did you say.” Buffy looked at him worridly and 

stood

and walked to him sitting on his lap.

“ are you alright, Angel?” she asked. He smiled slightly trying to not 

make

her worry.

“ Yes I’m fine, we should get going then, go through the sewers.” she 

nodded

and the grabbed their jackets heading for the magic box.

They opened the door Joyce staring back to them.

“ Mom?” Joyce looked at them angrily

“ Mom.” Buffy said looking closely at her mother. “ Buffy, Hi they let 

me

out early I…” she turned to look at Angel then back to Buffy.

“ Angel, what are you doing here.” Joyce said angrily.

“ Mom, he came to see if we needed help with Glory and to see if you 

were

alright.” Buffy said following Joyce into the house.” Are you feeling 

okay,

I thought the doctor said you needed to stay.”

Joyce sighed pouring herself a coffee she sat at the table. “ I’m fine

really wanted be home with my girls, where’s Dawn.” Joyce asked still

glaring intensely at Angel.

Angel watched the two and then turned to leave. “ Angel, where are you

going.” Buffy asked watching him sneak away.

He turned smiling slightly, “ I should go see if Giles can help stay 

here

with your mom, I’ll will call if we find anything.” He said walking 

towards

the door.

Buffy turned to her mother and then followed Angel.

“ Hey,” she said grabbing his arm and turning him hugging him tightly.

They stood there holding each other for minutes, Joyce watched in 

anger.

“ I love you.” Buffy said kissing him softly on the lips, he hesitated 

but

kissed her back feeling Joyce’s intense stare.

“ I love you too, I’ll call later.” He opened the door rushing towards 

the

man hole jumping into the sewer.

Buffy shut the door and turned to her mother.

“ What’s going on Buffy, where’s Riley and why did you just tell Angel 

you

loved him, I thought he was gone. I thought I told him not to come 

back.”

Joyce said and gasped when she realized what she had said.

Buffy’s eyes grew dark and her blood started to boil. “ You What!”

Joyce stared at her daughter and walked back in the room rubbing hetr 

head

slightly.

“ I’m sorry, I… I just oooh.” she fainted to the floor.

“ Mom, Mom oh god.” Buffy rushed to her feeling for a pulse there was 

on and

a sigh escaped her lips. She lifted her mom carrying her to the couch 

and

covering her.

Buffy dialed Giles phone number.

“ Hello?” “ Hey Giles it’s me, uh Angel will be there in about tens 

minutes,

my mom fainted I’m going to call Dawn then I’ll be there.

“ Angel, he’s already here. What‘s going on Buffy ?” Giles asked . 

Buffy

could hear him take off his glasses and clean them.

“ Long story tell you soon, be there in a half , okay.” Buffy hung up 

the

phone and went to door opening it she walked down the street to Dawn’s

friends house.

Riley was furious, he couldn’t let Angel come back into her life, he

frowned, he didn’t want her to be with him but after her seeing him 

with the

vampire whores she probably hated him forever now, he decided to call 

her

see if they could talk maybe he wouldn’t have to go with his plan he 

didn’t

want to , but , if he had to he would.

Angel sat staring at Giles , Willow sat in the corner huddled with 

Xander

comforting her.

“ Shhh, Will we will get her back I promise, please don’t cry.” Xander 

said

rubbing her head.

“ I.. I.. Didn’t mean to.. I didn’t see her there, What if she’s 

already

dead.” she said sobbing incoherently.

“ She isn’t, Willow, don’t worry I will find her, I promise.” Buffy 

said

entering the house.

Buff, hey, how’s it going, Where’s Riley.” Xander asked laying the 

witch

down and getting up.

Buffy looked to Angel then to Xander. “ I don’t know, Giles did you 

find

anything, anything at all.” She said sitting close to Angel.

“ Angel, please, I need you.” Darla said sitting on his lapd nuzzling 

at his

ear” you’re my everything please, I can’t do this again.” she said 

staring

at him intensly

She titled her head baring her neck. Angel shook his head and pushed 

her

off, “ No I won’t do it, Darla. I won’t.” he said staring at her.

She hissed and her eyes grew dark.” Fine then Dru will.” she said

disappering.

“ Nooooo.” he screamed loudly and the gang looked at him.

“ Angel are you alright.” Buffy asked grabbing his hand. Xander and 

Giles

stared at him weirdly.

“ Buffy I need to go back to LA, I need to do something.” He said 

looking at

Giles and Xander

Buffy looked at him strangly grabbing his hand and leading him into the

room.

“ What Angel, What is it.” she asked cupping his face in her hand.

Giles looked to Xander and Xander shrugged,“ He was always a strange 

one.”

“ I seen her again, but, it was different I really felt her, I need to 

stop

her.” He said sitting on the bed.

“ Stop her from what angel.” she asked sitting beside her.

“ from turning again, she wants me to turn her and I said no, she’ll 

find

dru and then….. well you know.”

Buffy looked at him sadly and stood. “ Will you be back.” she asked in 

a

soft voice.

“ I uh, don’t know how long this will be , but, yes, I will bring 

everyone

else too, get them to help us with Glory.” He said standing up and 

putting

his hands in his pockets.

“ But, Tara, we need to find her, are you sure your not just 

hallucinating.”

she asked a little angry. Angel’s cell phone rang and he answered it.

“ hello.” “ uh, yes, uh Angel need some help, ooh cordy watch out”

“ Wes , what is it.” “ Uh big demons lots surrounding the house we need 

you,

oh shit.” the line went dead.

“ Wes,. Wes are you there.” Angel looked to Buffy then to the phone..

“ What , Angel what did he want.” Buffy asked.

“ He’s in trouble I need to go.” He said walking to the door/

“ Angel.” she said sadly and he was in front of her in seconds holding 

her

close.

“ I’ll be careful, and we will be back I promise, I love you.” He said

kissing her softly.

Tears filled her eyes and she kissed him back eagerly. “ I love you 

too.”

she said not wanting to let him go.

He walked to the front of the house looking towards Giles and Xander.

“ I need to go, they need my help, but, I’ll get Fred to research Glory 

if

anything comes up I will call. See you soon.” and he was gone.

Giles and Xander stared at Buffy weirdly and she sighed plooping her 

self on

the couch beside Willow.

“ We need Anya, Xander can you call her.” Buffy asked staring down at 

her

feet.

“ Sure, will do.” He said grabbing his jacket.

“ Bring some of the volume 4 books please from the magic shop they 

might

help us.” Giles said, pouring two cups of tea and handing one to Buffy.

Xander nodded and left.

“So what was it you were trying to do witch.” Glory asked the tied up 

witch.

“ Nothing…. We weren’t doing anything.” Tara studdered.

“ Don’t lie, Bitch, well if you won’t tell me I will just have to find 

out

my self, right.” Glory said moving closer to her smiling wickedly.

“ See you later.” Glory lauched and grabbed Tara’s head digging her 

nails

into her and sucking the power out of her.

“ Wow, What a rush.” she said getting up and looking at the witch.

“ Hope you like being a vegetable.” She laughed harsly abnd left the 

room.

Tara stared at her as she walked a way. “ cant, oh can’t the little

children, how are you, I no.. no…no… “ she mumbled incoherently.

Angel pulled up to the Hyperion, grabbed his duffle bag, and headed 

into the 

hotel. The aroma in the room was intoxicating spices filled the room. 

He 

smiled as he entered the kitchen seeing Cordelia hunched down cooking 

up a 

storm.

Buffy turned off the car and opened the trunk grabbing a bag full of 

clothes 

she walked up to the door.

“Cordy! What’s going on, why did you call me?” Angel asked some anger 

in his 

tone.

“Uh! Angel hi.” She said placing the freshly baked cookies on the 

counter 

and hugging him tightly

Buffy peered through the foggy window noticing the hug Angel was giving 

Cordelia she grew jealous.

Wes entered the kitchen a book in his hand.” Ah Angel! How was your 

trip, 

sorry about the call Cordelia accidentally dialled you.” He said 

glaring at 

his friend.

She pouted brushing a strand of hair away from her face he laughed 

walking 

to the fridge.

Buffy frowned she had never seen Angel so happy not ever! She opened 

the 

door slipping inside.

“So How’s Buffy anyway” Cordelia asked an annoyed look on her face.

Angel glared at her and grabbed his blood slurping it down quickly.

“Good has a problem with a god! Uh, Wes you think you do some research 

for 

her. This god her name is Glory, she’s very powerful steals peoples 

power 

and turns them to vegetables she has Tara, Willow’s girlfriend.,” he 

said 

sitting on the couch and placing his feet on the coffee table.

“Willow’s girlfriend?” they both asked shocked,

Angel smiled and rubbed his head softly. “Yes girlfriend. Oh, Giles 

would 

like you to call him Wes. Something about a book he’s looking into.” 

Wes 

nodded and placed the book down.

Angel drank the rest of his blood and walked to the phone looking for 

messages.

“Have you found anything about Darla yet?” Angel asked looking towards 

the 

ex watcher.

“Uh no, but Kate came to see you she seemed very angry said she found 

something and that you are now a suspect.” Wes said looking towards 

Cordelia. “Would you know what she’s talking about.”

Angel froze he could feel her but why? She was not here he had just 

left her 

two hours ago.

Buffy stared intensely at the group and moved in closer to hear better, 

she 

lost her balance falling into a plant.

Angel and the gang looked up to see the fallen slayer in front of them. 

She 

blushed and stood up quickly.

“Buffy?” Angel said and Cordelia and Wes stared at her.

“Angel Hi” she said shyly looking around the room. “Nice place.” she 

said 

walking towards Wes.

Hi good to see you Wes. You look good.” She said engulfing him in a 

hug.

He smiled hugging her back. “Buffy. Good to see you too.”

She turned towards Cordelia who had a look of disgust on her face. 

“Cordy 

Hi. Never thought I would see that on you.” Buffy said pointing to the 

apron.”

Cordelia snorted walking back into the kitchen.” Buffy! What are you 

doing 

here? Angel asked grabbing her hand and pulling into a kiss. He 

grovelled 

her she tasted like peppermint and bubble gum.

“Angel! Hi, I was worried and Giles needed a book from Wes and well I 

thought I would check out your place and…” she mumbled

“You’re worried about Darla.” He asked and she shook her head

He smiled at her and pulled her into the kitchen kissing her fiercely. 

The 

kissed became more passionate and they grabbed at each other 

frantically 

finally he pulled away staring at her.

“I missed you Angelus.” Darla said smiling widely at him.

Angel pulled away frantically and stared at her.

“What’s wrong baby it looks like you’ve seen a ghost.” Darla said 

grabbing 

at his shirt and pulling him to her, her eyes grew bigger and a panic 

look 

came in her eyes.

“Angel, Angel what’s wrong.” Buffy asked as she watched the blank look 

in 

his eyes.

Both Wes and Cordelia came beside her. “He’s been doing it a lot; I 

really 

think he’s going crazy.” Cordelia said waving her hand in front of his 

face.

Buffy stared at him with a concerned look in her eyes looking towards 

Wes 

she grabbed his arm.

“ I think we should look into this more maybe he is seeing her, maybe 

she 

was brought back from W/H and I’m going to find out. Will you watch 

him?” 

She asked

“Yes but are you sure Buffy maybe we should go with you.” Wes said and 

Cordelia grunted.

Buffy glared at Cordelia and grabbed her coat that was on the couch.

“I’m okay can you put him to bed I’ll be back, If I’m not back soon, 

come 

get me.” She said walking toward the door.

“Buffy?” Wes yelled and she turned. “Take this we will call you in two 

hours.” He threw her the phone and she caught it, leaving the building.

“It hurts Angelus why does it hurt.” Darla asked

Angel stared at her and looked around they were not at his hotel 

anymore 

they were in a garden.

There were beds of roses and pansies everywhere. “Where are we?” He 

asked.

Buffy walked down the street noticing the W/H building she smiled and 

ran 

heading towards it.

Darla noticed Buffy and slipped into the alley. This was going to be 

better 

than she thought all she needed to do now is tell Lindsay about her and 

getting Angel to loose his soul would be easer than she thought. A 

smiled 

formed her lips and she pulled out her phone dialling his office.

Riley got back in the car and sped

Up, it was not much longer until LA and He was going to find Buffy and 

get 

her back no matter what even if he had to kill Angel in the process.
