Angel sighed slamming the book down, he hadn't thought of shansu in a long
time then Spike came and Wes had mentioned that it could be for him. He
growled and walked upstairs, he opened his door and threw his jacket on the
couch , he entered the bathroom and stripped getting into the shower, his
mind was boggled Buffy flashed in his mind and he groaned, god he missed
her.

He finished his shower and drank a container of blood, he laid in his bed
and looked toward the window he wondered what she was doing.

Buffy entered the huge building , "Wow " she remembered which stair case
was his so she sneaked by the office not letting anyone see, she opened is
door it was dark she put down her suitcase and jacket and went to the room,
Angel was sleeping she smiled at him she watched as his features changed he
looked grumpy, she took off her clothes and got into his bed she paused not
sure why she was here or what she was doing she kissed his forehead and
Straddled him he moaned but didn’t open his eyes, she kissed his ear
nibbling on it, his eyes shot open and looked straight at her,

"Buffy!" she smiled and kissed him hard rubbing herself all over him.

Spike stood at the doorway he had watched her go up the stairs and to his
Sire’s room, she was hot she had striped and went to his bed, he growled
watching her kiss him.

"Hi, I missed you" she purred. He watched her confused.
She moved down to his hard on and licked it making him moans loud. "
Buf-fy." she giggled and put him in her mouth...
Angel stared at her, was he imagining her, yes he was sleeping, she
came
back to his face up smiling widely at him.

"Buffy?" again, he said her name and she shivered. It always made
her
crumble, why was she here why is she in his room. She had been in
Europe
with Dawn, Willow, Xander and Faith they had set a slayers training there,
small in a little town. Giles had went to England trying to recover
as much
as he could from the watchers council, or someone who survived the
bomb. She
and Willow had went into magic shop and the old lady had said
something to
her that she couldn't believe, not ever...

"Buffy?" she shook her head forgetting that for a moment looking
down at
her lover. "Angel, its me." she climbed off him lying beside him
turning
her body on her side and turning him so he was face to face with
her. She
caressed his face; feeling the bond between them the electricity.

He watched silently not knowing if this was real or not, he had
talked her 2
days ago and she was fine.
He lifted his hand to her brushing her bare shoulder with his fingertip.
She smiled and sighed... "Ummm, I missed you, I needed to see
you."
She moved in closer aching for the closeness. He looked at her
intensely. "
What's wrong, what happened?" he brushed her hair away from her
face.

"I um nothing, I just kind of had a bad dream, needed to see you,>that's
all." she moaned and he wrapped his arms around her pulling her
into him
rubbing her back lightly.

"What was it about, love." she shivered and tears formed her eyes
She
looked at him sadly and laid her head in the crook of his neck she
whimpered kissing his neck.

"It felt so real, Angel so, fucking real," she sobbed shaking
franticly.
Angel held her tight putting his head into her hair he kissed her
hair
rocking her gently.
"It’s alright beloved your okay now, your safe with Me." she
looked up at
him staring at him blankly.
" I don't know about that."

Chapter 2

He swallowed hard staring intensely at her, he watched her as she fidgeted
with her hair, she moaned and gazed at the window.

" They killed you, it was so real Angel, it felt so real, I watched it
happen." He looked toward the celing and then back to her.

" Who, what." he grabbed her gently kissing her puckered lips.

" I don't know who ,it didn't show me, but some one here, and I seen Spike."
she rubbed her forehead, which means I shouldn't think it is true, cause
Spike died." Angel grunted pulling himself up.

" Actually it's true, he's here Buffy , he showed up a while ago, but he's a
ghost and that neclace is his connection." he waited for her to freak, she
opened her mouth but caught something in the corner of her eye.

" Spike?" He sondererd over standing beside her. " hello luv." Angel growled
and hugged her tightly making her gasp, he lessened his hold on her but
stared at his childe.

" Spike, I umm didn't know, are you okay?" she stood and reached her hand to
grab his face he smiled but didn’t move.

" won't work luv, I am not really all here, you know." she looked at him
sadly." I'm sorry Spike for this, for what you had to do... Thank you."

He smiled and looked at his sire, he could see angelus rage coming out he
snickered and touched her cheek.

" It's alright, not bloody likely for me to be at peace right, so they bring
me back, a bloody
ghost and I have to deal with him." Spike snarled and pointed to Angel.

Buffy looked towards Angel and realized he was watching them closely. she
shly sat down looking at the ground. " Spike, could we talk later, I need to
speak to Angel himself, please."

Spike nodded and walked through the wall not saying anything.
Angel watched her as she paced back and fourth. " Why haven't you told me,
we talked the other day." Angel could see the anger rising.

" I umm I just didn't want to burden you, I" She held up her hand for him to
stop. " You didn't tell because you dint want me to worry , fuck, Angel, you
didn't want me to come back because of him, because of us." she growled
sitting on the bed.

" Angel, I would of found out sooner or later and you can't keep him for me,
were friends I care for him." she intensely stared at him she crossed her
arms aggresively.

" I think that it was a prophetic dream there was things I dreamt of that I
probably shouldn't see, things have already happened what I dreamt they have
came true.?"

He coughed and sat up more. " I dreamt about this witch she has told me that
my mate was needing me that you were going to be destroyed, that your half
will be come one.? she wasn't very certian what the half was , i am
assuming Angelus, but if that is then you will... " he grabbed her hand
pulling her toward him.

" That won't happen love, I am safe, your safe." She looked at him confused.
" My soul is safe, Willow and Lorne they fixed me, the last time, we can
make love..." She gasped and tears formed her eye's.

" Are you sure, cause the dream, and.." He smiled and kissed her softly. "
Yes, safe as houses." She shook her head

" Noo, it was real , that's why I came i actually we seen he Willow and I
yesterday, she told me he will be free and the world will end she said it's
started.. I'm scared Angel, if your cured then how will he get free we need,
to find out more..."

Angel stood and dressed they walked to the lobby and harmony followed him,
..

" Angel, the gang they went to find some demons, you need to go they need
help." Buffy stared at Harmony in shock.

" Yes, what were they harmony." Buffy stared at her . " Mora demons" Angel
stared at her gasping for breath Buffy noticed and ran to him. " Angel, what
is it." she looked at him worriedly.

" Mora demons, they we uh, we need to go."

Buffy stared at him not moving. " what are they , what's going on..

Angel looked at her sadly grabbing an axe. " The end of days is coming."

Chapter 2 b
"Remember that time when you came to visit your dad and you came here to get
mad at me for stalking you not telling you I was there." she shook her head
,walking insync with him.

" that demon I killed they are Mora demons and when they come that means the
end of days, it told me more would come, and the powers said so."

Buffy looked at him and shivered he noticed and took off his jacket putting
it over her shoulders.

" Well we'll stop it, we always do.?" He stopped and she ran into him. " No
you need to leave, Buffy, you cant be here."

she looked at him puzzled and laughed harshly, " Is that how it's going to
be, you don’t need me, your kicking me out of your town." He grunted and
sighed.

" Buffy I need you safe, please..." she looked up at him angrily, " Your not
fighting this alone, Angel, god haven’t we done this enough, were strong
together always have been, we are a perfect match, were unstoppable."

He laughed and looked at her, " You've died twice, now, were not un
stoppable or invisible, this isn't the first Buffy this is the end of days,
its coming." " Well then you need all of us, everyone, I'll call Giles and
he'll bring the slayers to the new building here."

Angel looked up at her she was so beautiful, his goddess. " Your moving
here, the slayer building, why?"
She looked hurt at his question he watched her push it back.

" I um just thought , maybe, you could train with me, show them some tricks
of yours, if you can ,when your not busy, but i don't want to intrude."

He smiled to himself she wanted to be close to him, " Does that mean you are
... he looked up at her nervously," done, I mean are you ready for us.?" he
looked at the ground not meeting her gaze waiting for her..

She grabbed his chin lifting his gaze to hers." I want to try start over
see, how it goes," His heart sank she wanted to but she wanted to start slow
all over again, he wondered if spike had anything to do with it. she noticed
the pain in his eyes and she hugged him tightly.

" I love you Angel, but, I don't need to be hurt again and with us it always
seems to be pain and sorrow." he swallowed hard and kissed her neck softly.

" I won't let you go again, I promise." he listed his face meeting hers he
leaned in closer to her, she breathed heavily wanting the closeness wanting
him to touch her.

" Buffy, Angel."

Buffy turned to see Riley staring back at her. " Riley, Hi. what are you
doing here." Angel tensed and Buffy noticed.

" Oh big vibe, we were sent here told that it was coming the end of days, is
what the women called it."

" Oh, you too, how's, Sam, where is she." Riley looked to the ground then
back to her holding the tears back.

" We uh slip up, she went back home."
" Oh I am sorry Ri, I really liked her." she hugged him and he looked toward
Angel who was very jealous,

" Oh, riley you remember Angel." Angel nodded and moved closer to her,
grabbing her hand.

" Ya hey Angel." Riley looked toward the vampire and then to Buffy.

" Wanna come kill a demon, were just heading there now." Angel growled
softly making Riley jump. Buffy looked at him then to Riley. she noticed he
was mad at her for inviting him, but when she was alone all she thought
about was him, making love to him and she needed to find out more about
Angelus and Angels soul being permemant.

Riley noticed this and smiled to himself, maybe getting Buffy back wouldn’t
be that hard, he missed her and he knew she wanted him back when she met
Sam.

Angel glared at Riley standing in front of him. " Don't get in the way." he
stomped off leaving Buffy and Riley behind

Chapter 3

Buffy walked behind Angel, Riley watched her he cringed, Buffy was being
treated like a dog. Angel looked behind him glancing at Buffy he reached for
her hand and she took it coming closer to him.
They entered the building, Gunn and Wes were fighting a big green demon and
Fred was trying to fight off the Mora demon .

"Fred look out." Angel jumped in front of her pushing her out of the way,
the Mora sliced his chest and he winced in pain, he did a round kick and the
Mora fell, the Mora got up grabbing Angel and slamming him into a wall.
Buffy ran kicking the Mora demon right in the chest, she punched it twice
knocking it to the ground, she looked at the demon she felt weird, dejaveu
the Mora growled and slammed her into Fred.

" I told you more would come." it spoke. Angel growled and vamped punching
it hard, he grabbed a sword that was on the ground and smashed the jewel on
it's head., the Mora disappered. Riley sat in awe watching them, he moved to
where Buffy was. " Buffy you okay, you need some bandages. She smiled at him
and looked to Angel.
Angel smiled and proceeded to help his friends.

Wes, Gunn and Angel fought the demon, Gunn through his axe chopping the head
off goo, slopped all over them. Angel frowned ,. " More will come."

"Ugg, this job never is clean." Gunn frowned wiping the green slop off his
face. Wes laughed and wiped his forehead and Buffy laughed.

"It looks good on you." They turned to her frowning. " What, your guys look
cute, it would be a good picture." Wes Gunn and Angel sighed.

Buffy turned to Riley grabbing his arm. " Thanks Riley, are you here for a
while." He nodded and smiled at her. " Good can we talk later I need to go
see Angel. He smiled leaving.

They got to W/H and Wes and Gunn went to shower.

Fred came out of the kitchen with a tea. " Buffy ,Hi would you like some
tea. " Thanks Fred, I'll be right back." She followed the stairs to Angel's
apartment.

" So you never told her peaches." Angel growled throwing his shirt on the
chair. " No , but Leave Spike." Spike laughed and moved closer to him.

" She needs to know and if you don't tell her I will." Angel's eyes turned
yellow and he morphed into game face.

"Get out Spike." He grabbed his childe by the neck and opened the door, he
was so angry he didn’t realize she was there.

"Buffy." he stopped putting Spike down. " Angel, Spike what's going on?" she
crossed her arms glaring at them. Spike smiled to Angel then looked to Buffy
.

" Looks like Peaches has some explaining to do. don't you peaches." " Spike
get out." Spike smiled to Buffy " See you later luv." he patted her on the
shoulder and walked down the stairs.

Buffy looked at him angry and confused, she entered his apartment and sat on
the edge of the couch. Angel followed and headed to the kitchen, he poured
them coffee and handed her one. He sat beside her on the coach. motioning
her to sit beside him. he stared at her and He cleared his throat.

"There's a prophecy about a souled vampire who saves the world and becomes
human." He watched her intensely seeing happiness flicker through her eyes.

" Wes found it years ago, I didn’t think anything of it then, but it has come
up again, we found another book on it. I always believed it was for me, but
things have changed and now well I don't know." he averted her gaze looking
to the ground. Buffy stared at him understanding and grabbed his face
looking at him. " Spike." He nodded and sipped his coffee.

" I know why you dreamt of me ( Angelus) and them killing me, I believe that
Spike and I have to fight for humanity when the end of days come." Buffy
looked at him with tears in her eyes.

" What?" He moved closer to her leaving no space between them. " Angelus
won't be in me, I am suppose to fight him too, I think both of them."

She stared ate him" So what do you think we should do." she asked looking
into his brown eyes. He sighed, and she knew he meant Spike, that he needed
her help to kill them, to help him become human. God only a million times has
she thought about him being human, she grew excited thinking it was a
possibility, spike entered her mind and she frowned he had been there for
her when no one else had.

Angel watched her intensely, maybe she couldn't do it, maybe she does love
Spike. Angel caught her gaze not looking away.

" There has to be another way." she pleaded grabbing his hand. He broke away
and stood pacing the room.
" There’s not Buffy it's the only way. Do you want me to be human.? His
eye's filled with tears." she stood and rushed to him." Oh god Angel, more
than you'll ever know, but I can't, Spike he saved me saved all of us he
deserves another chance."

Angel lowered his head, he held back his tears ." I see, I need to be
alone." he walked passed her towards the bathroom. " Angel, we'll find
another way, please don't be angry at me." tears streamed down her face and
he turned to her

" Your not the problem Buffy, i am, just go, please." he entered the
bathroom slamming the door, he growled and punched the wall letting the
tears fall.

She stared at the door tears fell silently as she chocked on them she need
to find another way, to make Angel human with out killing Spike, she turned
and grabbed the phone. It rang 6 times.

" Hello."  " Willow." Buffy choked." Buffy what's wrong what is it."

" Spike stood at the doorway to Angel's apartment he smiled widely, Hmmmm
maybe there is a chance for us anyways, but first we need to get rid of
Angel. He turned and smiled wickedly, and I know just the thing.

Chapter 4

He knew Buffy was in his apartment still he could hear her on the
phone, talking to Willow. He growled, she was protecting his childe
and he hated it he knew she loved him ,but, to let his childe live
and to care about him that much made his skin crawl. He grabbed the
soap lathering his hands.

"Hey, Willow, I need a favour from you, can you be here by tommorow
night." she asked hesitantly.

"What is it Buffy. Anything!" Willow could hear the pain in her best
friends voice".

" Be here tomorrow I am at Wolfman and Hart." she said hanging the
phone up.

Willow stared at the phone, something was wrong and Buffy was In LA
with Angel. She sighed and looked over to Kennedy she kissed her on
the cheek and headed to the bathroom. " Well I better pack, Buffy
needs me."

Buffy stood at the bathroom door she could feel him, his hate, his
pain, his love for her. Tears formed her eye's and she sobbed
slightly.

He was her world had always been her world but Spike had saved her,
saved the world, her friends, He had protected her and kept her safe
when nobody else did..... stayed with her when her friends had
kicked her out of her home.. she bit her bottom lip and looked at
the door intensely, but Angel, her Angel was safe they were safe.
They could be together the way they wanted too, the way they needed
too as one. whole. She turned looking at the clock it was 10 pm she
sighed and picked up her jacket.

" Guess I could do a sweep." she closed the door slightly heading to
the lobby.

Fred seen Buffy and smiled, " Buffy Hi." " Hey Fred." Fred frowned
looking at the slayer she seemed so sad so lost and it looked like
she had been crying.

" Are you leaving?" Fred asked as she handed Buffy a cup of tea.

Buffy smiled and took the tea sipping it slowly. " No I just thought
I would patrol, it kind of gets my mind off things” She sat looking
out the window.

"Oh, would you like some company? I kind of need to get out of here
too."

Buffy stood and placed her cup on the table." okay! ready then."
Fred nodded and grabbed her jacket following Buffy out the door.
Spike watched from the office.

They walked in silence both not wanting to speak. " I'm sorry for
everything."

Buffy looked at Fred and stopped. " for what Fred, you didn't do
anything."

Fred smiled shyly and looked at the sky." I know, but before well I
never met you and well Cordy and Angel they seemed to like each other
and well Lorne he said they were soul mates and I....I never knew."
they turned the corner heading across the street to the cemetary.

Buffy smiled and motioned Fred to sit with her on a bench in the
cemetary . Buffy looked at Fred she made her think of Willow.

"Fred, really you don't have to apologize , Angel and I we... it's
complicated."

Fred smiled and looked up at her " I know we don't know each other
but if you need to talk about anything I'm here." Buffy stared at
her and then looked passed her, " Oh no you don't. Fred! Watch out."
Buffy stood and swung her leg kicking the vampire knocking it down.

Fred stood and grabbed a stake she moved to the other side of the
bench . Buffy kicked the vampire again sending it into a tree.

" Come on, you can to better than that vampire."
" Slayer, your time has come." snarled the vampire he jumped on Buffy
knocking her down. Fred ran to the back standing behind the vampire.

" Buffy catch." Fred said throwing the stake to her. Buffy caught it
and dusted the vampire. She brushed her hands and looked back at
Fred.

" Thanks. So where were we." Fred laughed and so did Buffy they
walked through the graveyard silently.

" He loves you. He might be angry but he does." Fred looked across
the street to the coffee shop.

" Feel like a coffee." Buffy asked as she walked across the street.
They entered and found a table at the back.

Angel got out of the shower and dressed he couldn't feel her anymore
he followed her scent going into the lobby. Spike was sitting in his
chair watching T.V.

"Spike, where's Buffy, Fred?" spike looked up to Angel grinning
widely.

" What you not keeping tabs on the little slayer." Angel growled and
tried to grabbed him by the throat but his hand went though
it. "Spike! Where is she."

Spike laughed and moved to the kitchen. " I don't know you bloody
poof, they left a while ago."

Angel glared at him intensely. He went into the kitchen to the fridge
and grabbed a container of blood.

" She wouldn't do it would she." Spike asked staring at his sire
intensely. " Didn't think so, she can't do it she loves me mate."

Angel laughed harshly and walked passed him and headed to his
office, he placed the cup on his desk and grabbed a pile of files
rumbling through them.

Spike followed grinning widely. " Can't take it can you mate,
knowing she cares for someone other than you, caring for me." Spike
said sitting in Angel's chair.

Angel Grunted and grabbed his blood chugging it. " She feels sorry
for you, it's pity Spike, not love."

Spike glared at him and stood walking towards him placing his face
in Angel's.

" She loves me Angel, she's told me things you couldn't even
imagine, done things you wouldn't want to know." He watched as
Angel's face converted to his vampire face. " She told me she loved
me."

" FUCK! Spike. Get out, now!" Angel ,moved from the corner of the
desk and back to the lobby. Wes entered holding a book.

" Angel, hey I think I found something on the shansu."
Angel looked at his friend and then to Spike. " Good, what is it."


Buffy and Fred laughed , they were enjoying each other's company.

" Fred did Angel um.... date a lot." Buffy looked at the ground
avoiding Fred's stare. Fred swallowed her coffee choking on it.

" Well umm not really, this cop liked him and there was Gwen and Eve
but,not really." Fred fiddled with her cup nervously.

" Oh I didn't know. Who's eve and Gwen?"

Willow finished packing and looked at the clock it was 2:00 am she
picked up the phone dialling Giles number.

" Hello” Giles said groagily. " Hey Giles , it's Willow, I umm, I
think Buffy is in danger.

Chapter 5a " the News
 
	 
Wes stared at Angel then to Spike he sat and rubbed his head gently.
"It seems you were right Angel the dream Buffy had is prophetic,
the Chosen, the champion and the Ensouled one will fight, but there
is one thing I'm confused about."

Angel stared at his friend confused. "What Wes what is it." Wes
looked at his friend sadly then to Spike.

"We need to speak alone." Angel nodded and they stood and walked
down stairs. Spike was curious to what they had to say he followed
them getting to the basement first.

Angel growled lightly and entered a chamber which they had built for
when Spike was being a pain, it was ghost proof, he couldn't hear or
even enter.

Spike grunted leaning against the door. " Bloody hell." He heard
footsteps upstairs he looked behind him then headed upstairs.

Angel and Wes watched him leave, Wes gazed at his friend. " Angel,
I found something but, it's pretty confusing." he said leaning
against the glass.

" What Wes, Please tell me.. I need to know." Angel watched his
friend curiously, waiting for him to answser,

The new Prophecy we found says that the golden child will save the
world, and that it will protect the champion and the chosen from the
ensouled one and beast( which I believe is Angelus.)"

Angel stared at his friend in shock , his mind was racing, the
golden one, who or what was the golden one.

"Wes I don't understand, who is this golden one” He asked bluntly
Wes coughed and looked at his friend.

" I believe it is Your child, yours and Buffy's."

Angel swallowed hard and leaned against the wall.
" Child! Mine and Buffy's ,but ,how we haven’t even... are you sure?"

Wes patted his friend on the shoulder and opened the door.
"Yes all my sources have pointed to this, Angel we need to be
prepared for this, we need..."

Wes turned and looked to the stairs.

"Lila"

Wes stared as his ex lover, she was still so beautiful she was wearing a red
dress that came to her knees and black high heels, he swallowed hard
watching her as she glided herself down the stairs she smiled at him and
turned to Angel.

" Angel, it seems that there is so much trouble among you." Angel laughed
harshly and walked passed her , he stopped and looked towards Wes.

" I assume, we will talk more about this later, in the mean time, I need to
find Buffy." Wes nodded and Angel walked towards the stairs, turning back to
Lilah.

" If i find out your behind this, you will be sorry." He glared at her
baring his teeth. She looked at him shocked and walked closer to him.

" This Angel."

She walked towards him pointing to the book." What's to come, It's written
in the books has been there for many of centuries, there was no way to stop
Spike from staying dead, he's here and he won't leave not until it's over,
but, one question. Why isn't Buffy here, especially for something this bad I
thought you said she's different than the others that she will fight for you,
but "is it him she wants" oh and on the other hand this golden one who
fights Spike and Angelus, for world domination."
I'd say read up in that more, there something missing something your not
Seeing If I have more, I'll bring it to you okay. They are angry at me, kind
of don't want me to give you the information." She looked to Wes and grabbed
Wes his arm pulling him to her.

" I don't blame them would you.?" Wes asked as he breathed in her strawberry
scent. Angel moaned and walked up the stairs he could here the mumbled
voices of the other employees ,whispers of them saying what's to come he
turned the corner to the second flight of stairs to his apartment, he
entered throwing his keys on the coffee table. he sat down on the leather
couch opening the book Wes had given him.


Fred smiled and paid the waitress Buffy watched her silently." Well Eve
works for Wolfman hart for the senior partners, they are the ones that help
us I guess, but they are really a pain in our asses. Gwen well she's a thief
who has a touch of electrocution, she had touched Angel one time and his
heart started to beat, it was only one time.

Buffy stared past her to the booth behind her, anger built up in her and she
growled loudly making Fred jump.

"Buffy I'm sorry, did I say something wrong....Fred looked at her following
her gaze, she noticed a man who was five/seven with brownish hair mid
fourty's. Buffy gritted her teeth and looked toward Fred who was seemed
terrified.

"I am sorry Fred, I need to go, can you make it back alright" Buffy asked
grabbing her coat she watched the couple walk outside, she turned back to
Fred, " I enjoyed this, maybe again okay." Fred nodded and Buffy was gone.

Angel stared at the book he scrambled through the pages , it seemed Wes was
right, A golden child will come and destroy the en souled and the beast. He
smiled widely thinking of what Wes said, A baby his baby a bay with Buffy.
He laughed and remembered the conversation he had with her when she was
sixteen that he could ever have children. He frowned his mind wondered to
Conner. Conner what was he doing, he hoped he was having a good life a
normal life. He sighed, no one can have a normal life stuck in this world
especially not Buffy and Him.

There was a knock at the door. He stood and opened the door looking to the
man on the other side.
" Riley, What are you doing here.."

"Angel, hey ,ummm is Buffy around here." Riley shifted from foot to foot
staring at Angel. Angel watched the boy he was nervous and he laughed
lightly.

"No and I don't know where she is either." Angel turned and grabbed his
coat." What do you need, Riley." Angel asked.

" I ummm seen a huge nest of Vampires thought maybe she could help me, a
little too many for just me." Riley said scratching his forehead.

"How many?" Angel asked slipping on his coat. "Fifteen maybe Twenty." Angel
nodded and locked the door he didn't really want to be around Riley but he
needed a good killing.

" I'll go, show me where." Riley nodded and turned walking down the
stairs, It had been a madhouse in Wolfman and Hart there were people and
demons running around doing there odd jobs Riley noticed Harmony sitting at
the desk and he turned to look at Angel.

" Harmony works here." Angel nodded and hit the button for the elevator. "
Oh Angel you have messages, one is from a locker demon he wants his
money Mr. Giles, he called too."

" Giles? What did hey say Harmony.?" Angel stared at his secretary she
shrugged and turned toward the desk.

" said he would be here soon, Prophecy and a Golden Child and he babbled
about something else. didn't really catch it." Harmony said sitting behind
then desk ," but, sure you can handle it, right?" Angel sighed looking
towards Riley.

" Come on, we need to go.? Angel rushed out the building leaving Riley
behind.

"Angel walked silently not talking to Riley just staring blankly in front of
him Riley grunted and Angel looked to him glaring at him.

" What?" Angel snarled and walked faster, he sniffed trying to smell the
vampires he didn't but he did smell something else Buffy....

Riley watched the vampire cautiously he noticed angel sniffing and cringed
at the sight. Angel noticed and stopped ..turning toward her scent. He
looked at Riley lifting his eyebrow.

"What is is Riley.?" Angel asked angrily. Riley swallowed hard and looked at
the cemetery across the street.

" I know Buffy and You are well, whatever you two are, Buffy she's my friend
I care for her and I don't want o see her get hurt."

Angel laughed and turned face to face with him. " You don't know anything
about Buffy and I , got it, you are not aloud to speak about us." Angel's
eyes turned yellow , " I am not Spike Riley, I'm good . spike well he's a
killer and will always be evil but Buffy she's my mate my wife..and
anything to do with Buffy well I just don't it lightly."Angel stared at the
boy he was nervous.

" She didn't love me, never did that's why I left." Riley said turning to
the road, " those vampires they were there but now there not, maybe we
should...

Buffy sat at the table in the dance club she had followed the couple,
watching their every move. She growled loudly she couldn't believe him, she
stared hard at the couple.

Angel could feel Buffy she was hurt and angry, he wondered what was wrong he
glanced at Riley heading to the club.

" Buffy she's hurt." He opened the door getting a confused look on Riley's
face. Angel scanned the bar many people were there, it was a nice place,
small like the bronze. Angel found her across the room by the back door. She

The Alarm went and the red head yawned , she sat up stretching he body, she

Chapter 5b " The beginning"

Angel walked across the room looking at all the people, Buffy sat at the
back table he could see the tears forming in her eyes.

" Buffy, baby what's wrong." Angel knelt in front of her staring at her
intensely. She looked at him quickly and then averted her eyes to the
couple.

Riley watched Buffy and Angel he caught the waitress ordering 3 beers. " He

Willow sat at the airport it was fairly busy. she pulled out the book Giles
had told her about she scanned it., and skimmed the first two pages, It was

remembered Buffy saying Angelus, Buffy, Spike An the golden Child but who
was the fifth person. she flipped the pages trying to find info on the fifth
person. They announced the flight and She picked up her bags walking onto
the plane, she hoped everyone was okay .

Riley smiled at her and handed her the beer. " Hey Buffy , are you alright."
he approached her wiping a tear from her face. Angel growled and Riley
backed away.

" That's my dad and we haven't seen each other since I don't know 4 years
maybe more., he didn't even come to my mom's funeral." She grunted and
looked at them," that's a new girlfriend too I think." she sipped her beer
not looking away from them. Angel stared at the Girl she seemed familiar he
gazed harder. Buffy sipped her beer more and looked from her father and the
girl to Angel.

He looked at Buffy she was staring at him with a confused look she was so
beautiful , " I know her from somewhere I just cant..." Angel froze as the
couple walked past them .The girl looked to angel and a smile formed her

Buffy stared at her father and the young girl they seemed very happy and in
love she was so angry with him, she was going to see him soon, very soon.

Riley watched the two, confused by the whole scene." What is it Guys?" Buffy
stood and walked towards Riley smiling at him.

" I don't know." she frowned and looked to Angel.

" Oh but I thought." He looked to the couple and back to her." Oh I get it."

They left the club Riley and Buffy walked in front while Angel walked behind
his mind was boggled he remembered killing her and she's back with Buffy's
father it wasn't right something was wrong, and Buffy's father seemed to
have something to, a weird mark on his cheek that Angel noticed right away,
he needed to get to Wes to research this more.

Buffy sensed some vampires over in the warehouse across the street she
averted her gaze to Angel he nodded following her Riley realized what they
were doing and followed behind.


They entered the warehouse there was four vampires. Angel looked to Buffy
and snuck towards the right there was boxes of stuff he snuck behind one.
Buffy scurried to the back at least 10 feet away from Angel, Riley snuck
around too standing inches from the short vampire.

Has it come yet?" The tall black haired one asked. " No boss, but should he
here soon." The shorter one said.

Buffy caught something from the corner of her eyes she noticed two more
vampires they were across the room putting something underground. She
averted her gaze staring intensely at angel trying to get his attention, he
seemed motionless to her he stared at the vampires in front of him.

Buffy smiled to herself she was going to try and mind talk. Her and Willow
had done it often, she hoped she could." Angel.. Can you hear me." Angel
looked towards her he could hear her but so clear like she was standing
right beside him but she was pretty far away.

She giggled " You can hear me. Talk in your mind it works." Angel was silent
for a moment and looked to the vampires then to Riley.

"How can you do this." He asked in his mind. She giggled and it sent a chill
down Angels spine." Willow taught me, cool huh. There are some Vampires
behind you by the other side, they seemed to be doing something."

He looked behind him there were four vampires standing by the back putting
things underground. He stared harder, he didn't recognize any of them he
moved quietly toward Buffy standing beside. He grabbed her hand. " come on
we'll go get Riley." Buffy looked at him hugging herself to him. She
breathed on his neck sending him a sensation he forgot he had.

She looked at him pulling his head closer to his she moved in closer inches
away from his lips." I"ll be fine, go get Riley." He stared into her green
eyes he didn't want to leave her hold or her gaze. he shook his head not

" No.. Buffy I will go ,you get Riley." He began to move out of her hold and

knocking the girl down too. Angel watched and then joined the killed them
one by one, Angel finishing the last one off.

" Wow, your pretty good, Thanks for staking that one for me kind of close."
Angel said grabbing his axe and heading toward the back.

Riley hesitated for a moment then stopped in front of Angel." I know we have
had our differences and there are reasons for that, Buffy she's my friend,
we were very close and I loved her and I still do, but she doesn't love
me.." he looked at Angel and Angel watched him closely." She never did, I
don't like vampires and you are one, i don't trust you by any means, but
Buffy does I know she loves you, God; do I ever and I can see how much you
love her too, I can see that now, it wasn't the same as i seen when her and
Spike were sleeping together, you would protect her and die for her, but I
will be watching you." Angel nodded and looked around for Buffy he respected
Riley for what he had said , he found Buffy peering at them from a distance.

"Come on" They found her, the vampires sensed them and turned charging at
them , Buffy kicked one and flipped over it landing on her feet. The other
vampire came to from the back grabbing her she grabbed it flipping it over
and slamming it over her shoulder.

Angel grabbed one and threw it across the warehouse, Riley came in Punching
one from behind. Angel swung his axe missing the vampire, Angel twisted and
sliced the vampires head off, another one came from the side attacking
Angel.

Buffy jumped away kicking at the vampire it sided swiped her and grabbed her
from behind throwing her into the hole they had been creating. Angel seen
this and screamed. " Buffy." He staked the other one leaving one left for
Riley. Angel Rushed to Buffy staking the other one. Angel heard Buffy drop

" Buffy, are you okay." Angel yelled down the hole. Buffy coughed and peered
up the hole, " Yes she scanned the room it was small with tons of boxes and
another hole of some sort there was one light . " I’m alright."

Angel sighed and turned to Riley who was fighting the vampire. Angel moved
in swinging his axe. " Go get Help, I'll be okay." Riley nodded leaving
Angel.

" Angel and the vampire fought for a least ten minutes both . Angel finally
grabbed the vampire snapping it's neck he rushed to the hole scanning it. "
Bu-ffy." A figure came up from behind pushing Angel down the hole, they
slammed the hole bolting it shut.

"Ouch." Angel landed hard on the cement floor Buffy seen him and ran to him.
" Angel what happened." Angel looked at her then to the top of the hole.

" I uh got pushed, were trapped." Buffy looked at him then to up. He sighed
and sat near him crossing her legs.

"Oh great, oh well we have boxes, with goodies inside." he smiled at her and
stood grabbing her hand the went to the back , he found a chest sitting
there too he peered at her then to it.

The lifted the lid and peered inside Buffy gasped and backed away. Angel
looked to her and rushed to her holding her tightly.

" That's the ma-aster, how come it's here." Angel shook his head staring at
the master's corpse.

Chapter 6

Buffy shuttered at the sight of the master she couldn't believe he was there
in LA. Angel looked at her pressing a kiss to her forehead.

" Shh love, it'll be okay." He picked her up placing her on his jacket he

Chapter 7

Did you see her." Buffy asked looking towards A"Dngel. Angel shook his head and approached her." Who Buffy what did you see."

quite well with the scoobie gang.

“Angel, eh, we think we might of found more on the Mora demons, it seems
that every time you kill one another are brought.”

Angel looked at her strangely ignoring Spike he sat beside Willow.

“What, so how are we supposed to stop this?” He asked staring at the group.

“Were not sure yet, but, to my knowledge, until your child is born, they
can’t be stopped; well only somewhat I guess.” Wes said rubbing his
forehead.

Buffy was furious, how could he have a son, a child that wasn’t theirs, she
kicked a rock sending it flying, she seen a bar and she entered it. She
found an empty stool and sat at it.

The places was pretty run down and not very busy maybe with then odd
vampires and demons she seen, kind of like Willy’s. She asked the bartender
for a glass a wine and she stared at her glass.

“Buffy, are you okay.” Riley asked sitting beside her. She looked at him
smiling a little then back to her glass pounding it back she asked for
another.

“ Ya sure, I guess. Why are you here?” She asked looking at him.

He asked for a beer and turned to her watching her intensely.

“I was looking for more information, not very friendly people here.” He said
taking a big drink.

“Ya, did you find anything.” She asked pushing her hair from her face.

“Actually ya, a lot, maybe some I really didn’t want to know.” He said
looking around the bar and back to her.

She watched him staring at him waiting for him to speak again. “What Riley
what did you find.” She asked nervously.

He sipped his beer not looking at her but staring towards the door.
“Uh Buffy isn’t that….. Xander.” Riley asked pointing to the back of the
bar.

Buffy looked to where he was pointing and her mouth dropped open.” Yes and
that is Eve the senior partner f W/H what is he doing with her.” She said
getting up; Riley grabbed her arm stopping her.]

“ Hey, wait lets just see what he is doing with her, he grabbed her hand
leading her to the back not letting either of them see .

“ I don’t get it why does this have to do with a child, a child that hasn’t
been conceived, so your telling me these Mora demons will be coming until
Buffy conceives my child, That could be a long time coming.” Angel said
getting from his chair and going to the intercom.

“Harmony, I need all the research you can find on Mora demons, search the
W/H files too.”

“Uhh, boss, we have a problem.” Harmony said loudly.

Angel grunted. “What Harmony what is it?”

“We seem to have problem big demons 10 or more maybe coming your way.”

Angel looked to the group then to the door, 15 Mora demons came crashing in.

“ Gunn, axe please.” Angel yelled, G unn through him the axe and everyone
scrounged for weapons.

Angel took the first blow flying into the cabinet, he got up and charged
again, slicing on of them in the arm, the group, fought hand and foot, what
it seemed like forever, Willow chanted in Latin sending a fire ball towards
them, burning three up, but again three appeared.

Wes jumped towards them slicing the jewel of the head, making it disappear.


“Come on Xander, wouldn’t you want to, its great life experience.” Eve asked
smiling seductively at him.

“I’m not sure, how do I know you’re not tricking me.” He asked sipping his
beer.

She smiled and stood sitting beside him she rubbed his leg, grabbing his
balls lightly.
