Author’s note: this is going to be a short fic. I just had this idea in my head and I couldn’t get it out.
The Yoko Factor happened.
Buffy, Riley, Willow, Tara, Xander and Anja were sitting outside on the grass. They were having a little
picnic.
“Do you have any more classes today?” Riley asked.
“No, I’m free.” Buffy said smiling.
Buffy looked at little strange.
“Buffy what’s wrong?” Xander asked.
“Uh nothing. I just feel strange.” Buffy said.
“Is it a vampire?” Willow asked quietly so that the other people couldn’t hear her.
“No it isn’t a vampire. I don’t know. It’s nothing. Probably just my stomach.” Buffy said.
They were going further with the conversation.
Suddenly Buffy had that feeling again.
She stood up.
Everybody looked at her.
“Buffy what is it?” Riley asked.
“That feeling.” Buffy mumbled.
She felt it getting stronger.
She turned around and almost fainted.
“Oh God.” Buffy said.
Everybody started to look at where she was looking at.
It was Angel he was standing in the shadow of a tree.
He took one step forward. Buffy started to stiffen up.
She wanted to say ‘Angel no!’ but he was al ready in the sunlight and I wasn’t burning.
“Oh God.” Buffy said again.
She started to walk towards him and then run. She jumped into his arms.
“You’re human.” Buffy said.
“I am.” Angel said.
They looked into each other eyes. They smiled like crazy persons.
“How?” Buffy asked.
“I redeemed myself.” Angel said.
“God I love you.” Buffy said.
“I love you too.” Angel said.
They started kissing. The kiss became passionate very soon.
“Let’s … go … to …your … place.” Buffy said between kisses.
“Couldn’t have a better idea myself.” Angel said grinning.
They ran towards the parking lot were Angel’s car was standing. They got in and drove away.
They gang was still sitting. Riley couldn’t believe what just happened.
“I can’t believe he’s human.” Xander said.
“They can finally be together.” Willow said.
Riley looked down to the ground.
He stood up. “Tell Buffy, I’m happy for her.” Riley said sad and walked away.
“Wow, he took it good.” Anja said.
“Yeah, he did.” Xander said.

Riley walked into his dorm room. He loved Buffy so much. He couldn’t bare this. He took his suitcase and
started packing. He was going to leave town and he was never coming back. Never.
