| Here below are some pics of my electric furnace based a round a few peoples designs. but i think the final result is quite original. it runs on a nichrome wire at around 1.5-2kw input. this seems to give a melt time of about 40mins or so of aluminium. i havent tried other materials yet. |

| here is the finished furnace. its wrapped in galvanised steel. and this only gets warm after an hour run time. |
