| This is a pic of my ballast made from an 1800watt microwave oven transformer. First i cut the wels holding the i core in place then slid off the secondary winding then made the brass strips to hold on the i core. i place plastic shims in between the e and i core to vary the inductance between 70mH to 30mH this gives me a variable system even if i run mots allowing me to set my charging circuit frequency accurately. |
