Rupert
Everett and Colin Firth had a great time working together on The
Importance of Being Earnest, but it wasn't always that way. "When
we first worked together 20 years ago (on Another Country), we didn't
get along at all," Rupert says. "He was so dull! It's strange,
because now I think he's one of the funniest people I've met." Firth
sighs at even the mention of Everett's name. "We've known each
other for so bloody long, we're like an old married couple. Or like a
couple of old queens, really," he laughs. "I didn't
particularly like Rupert the first time around, but in his defence, I
was pretty dull back then. I was terribly earnest." Article
