Have you ever met Colin in person? Sadly, no.
What was the very Colin Firth film did you see? Hmmm. Probably Circle of
Friends or the English Patient, but I didn't become obsessed until much
later.
What was the first thing that made you take notice of Colin? The way he
can tell so much just through his facial expressions. ::sigh::
Name your Top 5 Colin Films and tell us why:
1. BJD - I read the book before I knew about the movie, and I loved it,
and
once I found out about the film and that Colin was actually in it, well,
I
was just sold. :)
2. Pride & Prejudice - I don't know. This is probably where my Colin
infatuation came from, so it has to be on the list for that reason
alone. :)
3. TIOBE - He sings and fights over muffins, what more could you want??
;)
4. Shakespeare in Love - even though he was a creepy dodgy guy, he was
still funny and great, and I loved the movie itself.
5. The English Patient - This one was a tough spot to fill, and I'm not
even
sure that I 'love' this movie. But I just felt so sorry for his
character, and he did such a good job with what was really a pretty
pointless member of
the plot.
Which character of Colin's do you admire/love the most? Mark Darcy
Which character of Colin's do you dislike the most? Hmmm. Probably Simon
from Circle of Friends. He was just a grade A creep.
Who do you think is Colin's best on-screen partner? Um, I guess Renee
Zellweger, because everybody in that movie was so good together.
If you could be one of Colin's on-screen partner, which character would
you
choose? Ooh, now that's tough. I guess Bridget. She just rocks.
Name your favourite Colin scene in a movie. (There may be several so
feel
free to tell them all). The kitchen scene in BJD when Mark helps Bridget
repair her meal before her friends arrive.
Name your least favourite Colin scene from a movie. (If you can find
one).
Colin is good all the time, :) even when he's playing dodgy characters,
he
still plays them well.
What are your thoughts on Colin's portrayal of Mr. Darcy in "Pride
and
Prejudice"? I don't know ...
Which of Colin's movies would you most like to see a sequel to?
Definitely
Bridget Jones' Diary. There's so much more of Mark in the sequel! :)
(Not to
mention so much more Colin himself ;))
What role would you most like to see Colin play? (eg. remake of a
classic
film, a fictional character from a book) Wow, that's hard. I can't think
just off the top of my head.
Would you like to see Colin as the next James Bond? Lol, yeah, that
could be
pretty cool. :) I do quite like Pierce Brosnan though, so I don't know
whether I'd want to be comparing him and Colin. :)
Do you prefer Colin as the hero or the villian? The hero, but he does a
great villain too. :)
If they made a remake of "An Affair to Remember" with Colin in
the Cary
Grant role, which actress would you like to see in the Deborah Kerr
role?
Wow, um ... I struggle with casting questions, especially when somebody
is
already in my head, like Deborah Kerr. :) Maybe Kate Winslet, or
somebody
Australian ... Cate Blanchett?
If you had the chance to ask Colin ONE question, what would you ask him?
I'd ask how many times the shirt had to be resprayed in P&P. ;) No,
seriously,
I'm not sure.
