-The Sterling (made in the late 80's by Rover) was, essentially, an Acura Legend. It boasted the same engines as the first generation legends. The Honda 2.5 liter in the 86-87 Legends was also in the Sterling 825, while the 2.7 liter engine in the 88-90 Legends was in the Sterling 827. There were also several shared parts. |

-The Acura Legend Coupe was named Motor Trend's Import Car of the Year for 1987. |

-The 2.7 liter Honda/Acura engine in the 88-90 Legends is essentially the same engine as the V6 in the first V6 Accords (1995-97). They even look and sound the same. The Accord has slightly more horsepower though. They are not easily interchangeable. |

-The Legend Coupe is one of the few coupes to have power roll-down rear windows, kind of like the old Impalas and Mustangs. I didn't know this until about two days after I bought mine. |

-Honda still sells the Legend in Japan. It looks the same as the 3.5 RL does here in the US. |
