One of the main things that most people do not like about the way the Airport Security is now working is because the only people who are allowed behind the security checkpoint is those passengers who have tickets. To me that is a problem that is effecting people. I know when I was younger and my mom went on business trips I liked to be able to go with my mom down to the gate where she was loading the plan at and then set there until the plan was in the air, and to me that just made the leave easier on me where as if that were still the case I could not go down with her to the gate and watch her leave. Also they say that that can help prevent things like have happened in the past but lots of people are disagreeing on that. The reason that I say that is because of some information that I have found on another website stating that Mohammad Atta and another terrorist go through security at Portland International Jetport on 9/11/2001 and PWM was one of the only airports in the country that could only have pre-ticketed passengers only law enforced. With them having this type of security it still did not solve the problem and people do not like the idea that they can not get through.
