After looking at the Obey web site and still talking with my friend Jeff about the Giant's ideas and what magazines we have seen it in, I decided to contact Shepard Fairey and asked him several questions about starting my own posse.

Now I can't rememeber the very first time I came up with the Coleman Posse. But I do remember the very first stickers that I did. One had the gary Coleman face on it and read" Now that I got a Posse' can I get some Nookie"? I passed those out for weeks in the old market and everyone liked them.

We continued over the next year making new stickers with the same Gary Coleman face smiling and saying different things. We continue handing them out all over down town. It was a small thing back then. ( it is not like we big now or anything).

I can't remember the date, but we decided that we were going to start putting up posters around town on light poles and every where we could find a place so everyone could see it. We noticed the Yuppie posters around to at that time. I can't recall if the Yuppie movement was up first or not, It doesn't really matter since we know each other. The Yuppie movement has help the Coleman Posse' out, giving us adviced on improvements on our posters and what not. We are two different artist looking to get a message out.

We start putting up alot of Gary Coleman has a Posse' posters up. I notice how everyone was starting to talk about these two posters they are starting to see around town. We figured out that we need to make a web page of some sort, so we launch on on Oct 13, 2001 and so far we have like 7,951 hits. Not too bad uh?
