When: Gary Coleman has a Posse' started around theSummer of 1999, we started off with some corny sayings on our stickers like " now that I have a posse' can I get some Nookie"?, we gave them out to everyone downtown in the old market. It really started as a joke, until people kept  asking for more stickers. Then we came up with the plain square box with Gary's head. We continued to make stickers and lots of them. Placing them around town every where and any where we could get away with it. I believe we started to put up our poster early last spring/summer all over town the same time Yuppie started too, We didn't even know they were doing ot too until after a few months of posting. The coleman Posse and Yuppie artist are 2 different people.  We have afew new designs coming out early spring.

What are we about?: A group that are simply trying to change minds on what people  see in eveyday Corporate America, Where everything has to have a label. It seems that our minds are programmed starting at a early age, we grow up taking in so much advertising,billboards and pictures of large corporations ad's and by the time we are adults we see alot of "phantom signs", we see them and not even think about them or their meaning because we already have it stuck in our heads what it means to us.

Phenomenology n. A philosophy or method of inquiry based on the premise that reality consists of objects and events as they are perceived or understood in human consciousness and not of anything independent of human consciousness.
