Marquis Coleman

Marquis was a brother of Colonel Cicero Coleman.


1765. Coleman Hayes

Never married.


1770. William Pitt Coleman

Killed in a duel.


766. Hawes Netherland Coleman

Hawes inherited ÒValley MontÓ in Rockfish Valley, Richmond Co.,
from his father.


768. John Jay Coleman

John inherited ÒWintergreenÓ in Rockfish Valley, Nelson Co.,
from his father. On 10 Nov 1827, he moved his family and
negroes to Kentucky where he lived for 5 years before returning
to Virginia. John was a planter.


1785. Richard Hawes Coleman

Richard was a judge and in 1840 Sheriff of Nelson County,
Virginia for two years. He went to Victoria, Texas in 1858.


1786. Walker Coleman

In WalkerÕs will, he leaves bequests to Òhis little friendsÓ
(named them) and the rest of his estate to his brothers John J.
and Samuel in trust for his brother William. Walker never
married.


1790. Katherine Mary Coleman

Married either Dr. Charles Everett (Judge SBC) or John W.
Harris.


1793. Aylett Breckenridge , CSA Coleman

Aylett died from wounds suffered at FisherÕs Hill in the Valley
of Virginia.


1799. Robert E. DeJarnette

Cordelia and Margaret Burke were sisters.


1803. Daniel Coleman DeJarnette

Daniel was a member of the U. S. and Confederate Congresses.


1806. Lucinda DeJarnette

Never married.
