Obituary: Ruby Wortham, 80, died Wednesday at St. Anthony
Medical Center. She was the former Ruby Sipes, a native of
Caneyville. She was a retired teacher for Waller Elementary
School, having worked for the Jefferson County Board of
Education for 35 years. She was a member of South Jefferson
Baptist Church, the National, Kentucky and Jefferson County
Retired Teachers associations and National Education
Association. Survivors: two sons, Kenneth Wortham of Mayville,
N. D., and James E. Wortham of Jeffersonville, Ind.; a sister,
Edna O'Donnell of Del Mar, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
