Cemetery tomb inscriptions on page 65.

"GLENN, WILLIAM G. 5-16-1761 -- 4-18-1827 Revolutionary

mistaken for 'G'?

Reference to William C. Glenn of Union District, SC, and
Elizabeth Wright, daughter of Thomas Wright, entered in 1830 on
page 258 of SC Miscellaneous Records Volume G 1829-1831 reported
on page 48 of "SC Marriages Volume IV 1787-1875 Implied in the

And if either of her children should die before her and leave
children for the part of there father or mother to be equally
divided amongst them. And lastly, I do constitute and appoint
Doctor Hexekiah RICE, James YOUNG and Richard F. SIMPSON
executors to this my last will and testament. Hereby revoking
all other and former wills and testaments by me heretofore made.

The above will raises the question whether Nancy, married to Dr.
Hezekiah Rice (Jr.), is Nancy T. Glenn, as stated in "The Glenns
of Union County" by Ralph Manning Magoffin, or Nancy R. Glenn.
