Descendants of Robert Coleman Sr. from before 1622 Notes 7270. Thomas Louis , Jr. Coleman Tommy was kicked by a horse during WWII in a run off to see which could cross a river fastest, horses or tanks. The tanks won and Tommy was badly wounded when he was kicked. He suffered leg damage for the rest of his life. After working as a bus driver, he was again injured in an accident. He was disabled for the rest of his life. Tommy had a number of real and imagined illnesses. Alvin Vaughn Alvin was a dairy farmer in Caroline County, Virginia.
