202. Samuel III Hoskins

Served in the American Revolution.


210. Francis Coleman

Francis was a close friend of Patrick Henry and the leader of
the revolutionary movement in Caroline Co. Francis was licensed
to keep an Ordinary on 8 Feb 1759 (Caroline Co. Records). On 9
Feb 1769, he appeared before the County Court and was certified
as a fit person to practice law. He was elected to the House of
Burgesses in 1769. Francis was also engaged in a mercantile
business under the name of ÒColeman and JohnstonÓ.


Hannah Johnston

HannahÕs will was probated Feb 1783 (OB 1781-83, p. 212,
Caroline Co. Records).


Sarah ÒSallyÓ Smith

The children were placed under guadianship in 1778 and by 1785,
had come of age. Their guardians were uncles Bartelot and
William Smith.


Sarah ÒSallyÓ Coleman

Sarah and Wyatt were living in Hanover County in 1792.


625. Millie Green

Not mentioned in the will of Ann Coleman Green, written 20 Sep
1804 and probated 15 Oct 1804.

217. Ambrose Coleman

The will of Ambrose Coleman was probated in 1813, Culpeper Co.
VA, but the Will Book in which it was recorded has been lost.
From the will of his brother, James Coleman, it was established
the Ambrose left children, probably:


634. Madison Coleman

The year Madison moved to Kentucky is unknown, but he was on the
1800 Kentucky Tax List and census in Harrison County, Kentucky.


635. Judith Coleman

Judith and Jerimiah lived in Mortonsville, Woolford County,
Kentucky. JudithÕs brother Thomas and his wife Susannah also
settled near Mortonsville Òadjacent to his sister JudithÓ.


641. Judith ÒJudahÓ Holland

Judity may have married (1) George Goodloe 10 Jan 1788.


645. Richard Coleman

Richard was the only child of Farish and Ann Coleman. He and
Elizabeth had no children. Around the time of ElizabethÕs
death, Richard was widely known as a drunkard.
