Well, it's been a LONG time since I updated the journal portion of my webpage. I just realized that my last entry was April 22! My life certainly has been everything *but* boring in the last few months...let's bring everyone up to speed.
I have temporarily left Vancouver because of a lack of work there, and I have moved to Gabriola Island for the summer.
However, I have found work here, and it is called The Haven. It's a resort/institute and people come from all over the world to take part in the programs offered there. It's really very fascinating.... although I wouldn't take part in a program here. New Age hippies that they all are....
But the summer has been amazing here so far, and I think I've actually got the starts of a tan! It doesn't hurt that I work only in the evenings at the Haven, so I have all this time in the day beforehand to do what I please! I do miss my beautiful lady back in Burnaby, so it will be a welcome treat to go back to Vancouver at the end of August when my contract at the Haven expires. I miss the bright lights of the big city too. Never was a rural boy, me.
So, that's basically my report on What I Did This Summer. I feel like I'm in elementary again, but that's okay. I hope to see some of you again soon, and bookmark The Fortunate Fish for further reading!
