| Abby is the foundation for Coldwater Beagles. She was purchased from J and L Kennels in April of 1997.When seaching for a foundation for our kennel, I asked for a 13" tri color female ...we got all of those things in Miss Abby so she truly is our "Hearts Desire". From Abby's first venture in the ring at 6 months old thru today it is evident of her temendous love to show off! She is now retired from the ring after a very exciting show career. But because we can't leave for a show without taking her along, Abby will make special apperances as a veteran at token shows. Abby is also retired from the whelping box after giving us 2 lovely litters. She has produced multiple champions and a BEST IN SHOW WINNER! Just look through our pages and you can see Abby's gorgeous kids and grandkids. Her main job now is Erin's bed warmer (as pictured below) and study buddy. She also teaches the new generations how to get into trouble! She is the "boss lady" around here and demands respect from humans and animals alike. She is pictured above winning Best Veteran in Sweepstakes 13" at the Southern New York and National Beagle Club of America Specialties in 2004 under respected breeders Ted Swedella (Beowulf) and Eddie Dziuk (Lanbur). |
