Cold Sweat was formed in the fall
of 2001; a product of drive, ambition, and heart crunching melodies. After
a pair of line-up changes, Cold Sweat settled in with Jeremy Thompson
(vocals), Keith Schroetlin (guitar/vocals), Brandon Thompson (bass), and
Travis Christiansen (drums).
The Wayne, NE based 4-piece represents a sound that lingers between
aggressive metal and alternative rock. The band spent the majority of
their first two years performing all over northeast Nebraska, as well
as in areas of Iowa.
In the early months of 2003, Cold Sweat released an untitled EP containing
6 tracks. “Bulldozer“
made KWSC-FM’s (Wayne State College radio) top 40 list for
6 consecutive weeks respectively.
On March 22, 2005 ColdSweat released “Resurface“, which contained a reviesed version of Bulldozer. Bulldozer has been featured on Z-98 out of Sioux City IA, Z-92 in Omaha NE, and 89.7 The River in Omaha.
Coldsweat is currently planning to return to the studio to record several new tracks. Keep checking back for more info, and updates.
