Preseason
5-2- The draft and F-A period has came to an end and the Rockets did well but not as good as they had hoped for. Instead of using thier 2 picks to get some bench help they decided to send both of them off for the Bucks 96 pick which looks to be lotto. With the deap draft in 96 we should be able to get a nice player to add to the mix. In F-A things didn't go to well. Even with the loads of cap space that we had, we were unable to get any big time F-A's to come and win a couple rings with the team. Deke, L.J., and Brandon all decided to play elsewhere, so we went after the only one left at day 4 Doc Rivers. He is a very good vet that will help out the backcourt/bench alot with his defensive play and outside shot. It is still unclear weather he will get a starting spot or a backup role so that he can backup both SG and PG. He also could end up being dealt or Price to help fill the holes that the team currently has. With Rockets Management not liking the team look right now they have put everyone on the block expect there 2 franchise guys Shaq and Zo. We will wait and see how things turn out during the tourney and rest of the offseason.

4/1- Rockets are tring for home court advantage throught the playoffs. They are currently the #2 seed for the playoffs and are 1.5 games back of G.S. Warriors for the best reconrd in the west. Shaq and Zo have grown well together and are #1 and #2 in the league in scoring. They both have been able to rome free due to teams not being able to double either one with there big men. One weakness for the Rockets is that there last in the league in 3 pointers attempted with under 3 a game. This is due to are game settings focused towards inside, it is also due to one of there best ouside shooters Hawkins going down. There is also a rumor going around that the Rockets are in the working on a Huge trade that will bring another star Vet to the team. The player name that is in trade talks has not been released due to conflict of interests. If the trade goes down it will make the Houston Rockets the most feared team in the playoffs hands down. (Yes even over the sub .500 team Miami Heat),,, It will cost them some youth but we have a goal to win it all this year and that is what we plan on doing.
