| 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breast 1 lb great northern beans 3 tablespoons olive oil 3 large onions, chopped 4 garlic cloves, chopped 2 cans green chilies, chopped, 4-4.5 oz 3 tablespoons ground cumin 3 tablespoons oregano, crushed 4 red chili peppers, seeded and chopped 6 cups chicken broth For serving: 3 cups monterey jack cheese sour cream salsa Marinate chicken breasts in olive oil, fresh ground pepper, oregano and garlic powder overnight. Grill over flame and chop into pieces before adding to chili. Add all ingredients to slowcooker and cook on high for 8-9 hours. Serve with condiments. |
